LOVE the Outlander series. No buffering or lagging while watching.

Best story ever.

This series was about a World War II nurse and promising Oxford historian Claire Randall, who, after the war's end, was sightseeing in Scotland. She wandered into an ancient circle of standing stones, and was transported back in time to the 18th century. What would you do if you were suddenly transported to 1743 Scotland? She had the same question(s). She didn't know what happened, where she was, where to go, or the language. She faced danger, illnesses and slavery. Women of the time were little more than chattel. People believed in witchcraft, demons and devils. To further complicate matters, Scotland was at war with England.She managed to survive, relying on her knowledge of English history and her nursing education to persevere. After meeting a Scots warrior named Jamie Frasier, she was able to meld into the Scottish clans, where her medical knowledge was respected, but also often looked at with suspicion. After all, it was a time of witches, devils and demons.I won't add further discussion of the storyline, because people tuning in should experience all of the twists, turns, successes, defeats, happiness, and gut-wrenching sadness themselves. Watch it. You won't regret tuning in.

Great series. Enjoyed very much, have watched the series more than once.
