My partner is a huge fan of the books but not the films. He loves these calenders because the artwork is excellent and much more true to the descriptions in the books, than the films are. Sometimes they are a bit "dark" but always mysterious and mystical looking. Recommended for Tolkien book lovers.

Have no problem with the calendar nor the speed of the delivery - within 24 hours - what I take issue with is the packing ... a large box when a stiff envelope would have certainly done, such a waste of packing and cardboard.

Nice calendar, but it was too expensive and took too long to be delivered

I've had plenty of calendars for each year, but last year I had the 2020 issue of this and I was blown away by all the art work so I got the 2021 one as well. Hopefully they keep them going since this will be a yearly purchase for sure going forward for me, love Tolkien, love Alan Lee.

Alan Lee & Ted Naismith are by far and away the best Tolkien illustrators out there. Each month is beautiful.

I bought last year's calendar with illustrations from the Hobbit and was so impressed I went for three copies of this year's offering as the pictures are so stunning and different to the average calendar.

Have bought Tolkien calendars ever since they first came out for my sons. Every year! The quality has always been superb, which I think justifies the cost. You can look at the artwork and recall the scene so well. Love them, cannot recommend highly enough.
