Great book! In true National Geographic format this book has real, bold, bright, detailed photos and appropriate kids text. Lots of great facts and certainly a conversation starter. I hope you find my review helpful.

Bought this for my six year old grandson who has moved on from dinosaurs to reptiles. He loves it!

This book is perfect for those lizard living boys or girls in your life. Lots of pictures and great information for kids of all ages.

Although you can get these cheap on Kindle, or check them out at most public libraries, they are also really affordable as large scale hardback books that are not too thick and heavy for bedtime reading. I mean, really and truly this is one of the most well-oiled kid's book series, up there with Golden Books and even Dr Seuss, in terms of just being vivid and masterfully paced, with lots of side details to explore or ignore. Also, one of these is for sure all the reading that a kid can take for one night, and then some. These will last you a long time. My son is four and we already have almost ten of these, and I still want more.

I got this for my 4-year-old niece and she found it easy to engage with and absolutely loves it. If you youngster(s) like reptiles, this book is excellent!

My grandson loves learning about anything. We can spend an hour togther learning, reading or just looking at the pictures.

Great value

We have a few of these. The kids love them & learn from them… so do I!I now know the only reason a sloth go down to the ground!These books are well illustrated, engaging & use simple techniques such as compare the size of the creature to a 5yr old child which they really connect with.
