Great value
Great product for me, a “handy” homeowner. I don’t use them often but when I do, they work well. Firm hold, fit comfortably in my hand, and have held up well since my purchase. Great value.

Excellent Quality, but Rather Useless...
I should have looked closer before purchasing, and purchased this 6 inch tool. The quality is great, and it feels very sturdy. This being said, however, the very small size makes it not very useful (at least for me).

Irwin Made A very Good Pair Of Pliers
These are very good pliers and have virtually zero play and they feel great.

You get what you pay for. To be fair, they'll probably be fine in a pinch.
I paid $10 for these. I was looking for an inexpensive pair of 4" groove joint pliers to EDC and bought these because I didn't want to pay over $30 for the Knippex and the 4" Workpros were out of stock.TL;DR: For the price, they are okay. Not a complete rip-off, but not a stellar value. They're fair. If you have something that you can't open with your bare hands and these jaws will fit around them, they'll probably get the job done. Maybe something like a can of thinner or solvent, something like that. Not sure I'd used them on a glass bottle. I think it would be too easy to apply too much pressure and crack the glass, but hey, you do you. Anyway, for what I paid, I'd probably be okay with throwing them in a glove box and forgetting about them. The deets: Size: These are 6", so they are quite a bit bigger and heavier than the 4" ones. I knew that going into this, but wanted to see first-hand. Another issue I have is that there is a lot of slop in the pivot. They used a rivet and there is simply is too much play and no way to adjust it. As you can see in the picture, if you put a little lateral force on the handles, the jaws go out of alignment. I think the problem actually lies in the loose tolerances of the mold. As for the rest of the tool, it feels pretty solid. The rubberized grips feel really nice, grippy and no glaring hot spots. The cast metal they use feels quite solid. I don't feel any give when I bear down on these, and I have pretty good grip strength. It's too bad about the tolerances. If not for that issue, I'd probably keep them, despite the size issue. As is, they'll likely go back.
