EKWB EK-KIT Extreme Series PC Watercooling Kit X360

I have nothing to say about this water cooler kit but it’s an excellent kit, I used it on my 780TI Kingpin, which comes with dual stock fans as default, the kit was easy to install with well detailed assembly instructions of CPU cooler and the GPU cooler EK-FC 780 GTX as additional for the graphic cards.On every game, I always try to play it on MAX available graphics, and on the stock fans I always get from 80C – 82C, and the card starts automatic to reduce performance to manage the high temperature. After I installed EK-KIT X360 with EK-FC 780 GTX, the temperature went from 80C+ to 35-40C, on all heavy graphics games like The Witcher III and Archeage with all sliders to the max, at 60+ FPS. I am very happy with this kit, it’s amazing.

It is a solid kit. price a bit high. I would probably buy the parts separate if I have enough knowledge.

I bough this kit About a year ago to build my first custom loop in a pc with a 1080ti, i7 8700k, and Asus ROG Maximus Formula IX. The kit worked great As a starting point for my loop and I never had any problems up until about a month ago when the pump started burning out. The DDC pump will only turn after several restarts and even when I can get it to stay on it is operating at a really low pressure. It will have to be replaced after about a year of being in my PC, which is powered off most of the time. Too bad, I have never had any problem with EK products and I plan on replacing the pump with an EK D5 model.

Kind of bummed it says compatible with AM4 socket, but does not mention that you need to order the mounting bracket separately. Especially frustrating when your in the middle of a build and ryzen chips don't come with cpu coolers. Otherwise no complaints, seems pretty solid.

Quality is amazing from the instructions to the packaging to the kit, I think you need to research if you can fit the rad as it’s pretty thick plus the res and pump being separate take up a lot of space, I have fractal define s and it just about all fitted in the front, in hindsight I would have gone for the performance version with a D5 pump and slightly thinner rad, as I was after silence I replaced the fans, and added a gpu block and another 240 slim rad, very impressed.

I always dreamed of installing watercooling on my computer. That being said, it's easier said than done when you don't know much about it. I had several solutions, between digging the Internet till I knew enough, or ordering this kit.Not only was it cheaper in the end, it was also very easy and well explained. Recommended for anyone who want to start cooling a PC efficiently !
