It works. The set up is less than optimal however. The connection goes straight up which hinders you from using the slot above it for a graphics card (SLI/Xfire), however I knew this before buying it. It works well on my MSI Gaming 7 board. I would have rathered MSI's version but could not find it anywhere. It sticks the wire out the front so as to keep it flat. It would probably work better with an SLI/Xfire configuration.
