I use this in conjunction with my work Dell laptop and my own Acer laptop. It works really well with a 87w USB-C PD charger. All the ports work well. I do wish the USB-C cable was removable so I could swap it out for a longer cable as it is quite short.Great value for money though

I bought this hub to connect my monitor, mouse, keyboard and use ethernet instead of wifi with the Dell XPS 13" I've got. Dell requires a USB C. Tested all ports and it works well. I also wanted a compact and light weight adaptor to sling in my bag when we get back to commuting. All these requirements are fully satisfied., hence 4 stars. BUT it gets zero stars as a pass through to power the Dell. Unfortunately, the adaptor is under-rated at 40 and the laptop needs 45 watts to power it. Is it a biggy when you just have to plug the power cable directly into laptop? Only in that it did state it was compatible with Dell and annoying it isn't in that respect. Would I have still bought it? Well, I'd managed to get my options down to this one and one other. On balance, probably, yes as this one is more compact and light-weight and that's important when we get back to commuting.

I ordered this to hook up my MBP to the LAN cable in my office for faster internet speeds.The quality is good, although the cable isn’t as stiff/thick as maybe I’d like and can easily bend though this is being super critical.The colour is a perfect match for my darker space grey MBP which is great. The small and neat design is also a welcomed plus.All ports work well, not had a chance to transfer any 4K footage through it yet however so no real idea of ‘true’ read/write speed, although I have used the LAN function which worked perfectly, I did notice it got quite warm through this but nothing that concerns me.Overall I like the compact design, functionality and price of this - would recommend

I used this device with my Huawei Mate 30 Pro and it worked as expected. The HDMI output works, the ethernet works, and it works with a plugged in USB flash drive, although the flash drive did get rather hot. The device itself was also a bit warm when using it. I would also add that the phone's battery gets drained quickly. There is a charging port on the device, but did not try it yet as wanted to avoid overheating.

I have only had this item for a few weeks but so far it has performed faultlessly. It took me a couple of minutes to work out how to get the USB Type C plug from its storage position for the first time but now that I know how it is easy. I do wonder if this will be a weakness a few months down the line but I intend to be the only one using it and so I will be a bit careful with it. I have used all of the ports at least once and have found the fit of the cables/cards that go into them to be snug without being too tight. All-in-all a decent bit of kit for the money.

Having used this daily for work now for over a month I can say this is definitely brilliant value for money and works flawlessly. I have been using this dock on a 2020 MacBook Pro with M1 chip and connected a 2TB hard drive, Canon 5D MKIV camera (tethering) and Wacom Intuos tablet via USB 3.0 every day of use. I have also been connecting an Ethernet cable (gigabit connection), 4K monitor via HDMI and using an SD card intermittently with daily use as well as usual USB-C PD. It has held up spectacularly and though it gets warm at times especially after a full day working I’ve yet to experience any issues in use.I would recommend this to anyone lacking in ports and needing an adapter for different connections. For product imagery what you see on the listing is what you get. It’s quite small, easily fits in a pocket and has a smooth matte finish.
