After using the NIORFNIO 15W FM Transmitter for an extended period, I can confidently say it's a robust choice for setting up a small radio station or broadcasting over short distances. I used it as a sound source for 8 radios for a theatre piece. This is an excellent little transmitter that does everything it claims to. The range and fidelity are very good, the Bluetooth interface is easy to use, and there are some nice features such as readouts for forward and reflected power, as well as internal temperature. There is also a warning for over-temperature or bad SWR. My only complaints are that there is no setting for 0-6 watt power – the unit produces 0-15 watts, period; and the fan turns on and off constantly, may be a problem when you’re using a mic (cheap condensor mic with 1/8” plug works fine). A 4-page pamphlet in decent English explaining setup and use comes in the package.The PC Control software doesn’t do anything more than the controls on the transmitter face can do, except for allowing a playlist to play automatically; however there is no info on how to do that. Easier to just do the playlist on a tablet or phone and connect with Bluetooth. (Make Bluetooth connection from device to Niorfnio, and then audio from device will be broadcast by transmitter.)If you want to use the Windows PC control software, you need to request the web address from LIDI-US (use the link on the Amazon product page under "Sold by" and use the "Ask a question" button to request the web address to download PC Control Program – email will not go through, but you will still get a response, download is from a Google Drive website). At that website, download both the “NIO PC Control V2.1.rar” and “6W 15W Drivers CP210x_Windows_Drivers.zip” files. Install the x64 version of the drivers. To use PC Control program: connect a USB cable from the transmitter to the PC, start NIO PC Control program, login as Admin (Admin password is count to 6), then click "Connect" button -- you'll see data from transmitter when it connects, and transmitter screen will flash "PC". But for most users all this may be more trouble than it’s worth.

Used this product to broadcast the announcer for an outdoor sporting event. Worked for five days then quit transmitting.

Works as advertised except the Bluetooth feature is absolutely horrible and has very little volume to the extent that it's mostly unusable. I use mine with an Amazon echo dot connected to the line input, and it broadcasts the FM signal to a boombox that I take in my boat. I get a reliable audio quality signal all the way across the lake I'm on, which is about a mile away from the transmitter located in my cabin. However, please do not try to use at max output power with the whip antenna connected directly to the transmitter, or you will blow up your device quickly. On higher output powers you must locate the antenna away from the device via the coax cable supplied with the unit, and preferably attach the magnetic mount portion of the antenna system to a metal object, so you create a 'ground plane'.

Easy to use. They even give you a tape measure to adjust the antenna length to match the frequency you're using. Control is easy and sound quality is great. Zero 60 cycle hum. There is a forward and reflected power meter built in and the power is adjustable. Typical Chinese translation issues in the instructions, but they are good enough to get the unit setup as needed. Very satisfied so far.

I own several of these to use with televisions around my house and they work pretty well... a little buzz.The last one I bought had issues with the fan out of the box, but the behavior was erratic at best. When I contacted customer support the first response sounded sincere. But all they ever did was refer me to the manual and eventually sent me a .pdf I have 6 hard copies. I know how to use the thing.When I asked a question not in the manual the question was not even acknowledged.I guess its up to me to replace the fan.On the other 5 the fan runs constantly and a little loud for my taste.But if it doesn't the thing will burn up.In General they work pretty well but not without a little helpfrom you and your soldering iron and your amazon account.
