Looks like very good quality. And worked perfect.
The part arrived fast and looks to be very good quality. It even came with a in-line fuse for you to splice into your pump harness. All you need is a pair of wire strippers to crimp it or just a pair of pliers if you don’t have anything else. I would definitely purchase again and recommend to others.

Ready to install and fix washing machine
I've had this washer for over 13 years and it finally had it's last wash. A quick Google found a plethora of instructions and parts. This was so easy to repair. And considering how expensive a new washer costs this is a no brainer. I followed the advice of another and replaced the diverter valve at the same time (also easy). Total cost to repair was under $100... Looking forward to another 13 years with this washing machine.Let's start by emphasizing 2 screws allow you to access the agitator, wash bowl, and the bowl that holds water underneath. This allows you to clean everything! I obviously neglected this but the machine is now clean and sanitized. I feel if I stayed up on this it would have been even easier... This will be quick and easy maintenance monthly firm now on. This give access to another bowl and are worth keeping up on cleaning. Underneath after disconnecting the wires... easy plugs... You turn the pump and it's out. The new one just popped in and your done! The old pump was corroded and showed some water exposure... Probably an aggressive wash that spilled water on the area under the washer. Put it all back together and it started right back up... Some complained this pump is loud but I would argue it is quieter. The fuse is easy to install and it's apparently there to protect the circuit board when this pump goes again. Based on how the machine sounded before it died I thought for sure the circuit board was dead but it was fine. The instructions are easy to follow to install the fuse.Don't get a new machine... Fix this machine... I'm planning to have this machine for the rest of my life! I rate this fix as easy...2 Phillips head screws and a 3/8" socket and you're done! Fuse takes wire cutters... But you could use scissors if desperate. You don't need to flip the machine... I just leaned it against a wall. Less than 30 minutes of work... Assuming you clean it more often than I did... You have a new machine

Bad
I bought a pump from Amazon for a Fisher Paykel washer I got the pump on May 26th and 3 weeks later the washer stopped working I called the technician back out and was told the pump is no good . I called Fisher Paykel support to be told they wouldn’t replace it because I ordered it from Amazon ! Bad customer service! This pump was only 3 weeks old and goes bad again ?

So Far So Good
Included fuse was easy to install. Printed directions could have been a littler clearer, but there is info and examples on Google and YouTube regarding installation, so I don't think it would be a big problem if you are at all handy with some basic tools. The pump itself was very easy to install, and it seems to be performing nicely so far. Some reviewers complained about it being noisy, but I don't find it to be any more noisy than the old one. It IS different sounding. The old pump would often make some horrible screeching noises and would require lubrication on a regular basis to keep it quiet (apparently this was a common problem with the original design). I hope this new one doesn't develop that problem.

Perfect... Read here about the Fuse and Grounding!
Works well on Fisher & Paykel washer. Newer is slightly different than the older. The older one when failed also blew the main fuse on the control board as pump motor was shorted 3 Ohm, vs original 33 Ohm.Of course, this fits at the very bottom for pumping out the water out of the washer, but engineers could have used some sort water protection cover if possible. That would have most definitely increased the service life. While installing make sure to save the grounding clip from the older one, as this one did not come with one. While reusing the grounding clip, you may find that the original clip-screw is smaller, so you will need a newer screw to fit into the hole on the laminate core. The fuse can be put in line at the bottom where the pump mounts, but should be moisture free and should not interfere with the rotation of the pump fan even after severe vibrations. Best place is to put it in inline by splicing the pump hot wire (typically, brown of the brown white pair) inside the top control board.Do not skip the fuse as in other reviews, it will help you not fry the control board if the pump motor fails short (due to soapy/chlorinated water seepage on to the pump).

Perfect replacement for my 15 yr old ecoSmart!
I had a Drain Pump issue. Replaced the Drain Pump and Diverter Valve at the same time since they both live next to each other on the bottom of the machine. Tip the unit over\lean it up against the wall and literally tools are needed only to pinch the spring clamps to move them up the hoses\off the valve to remove the hoses. I can't imagine any other brands washing machines being this DIY friendly. The pump also had the updated fuse to add inline on the control board pump circuit, which was honestly more tedious than twist off\twist on pump!In all I replaced 3 items (Drain Pump, Diverter Valve, Control Board) for less than $300 and have a new washing machine for another decade. Now, if Fisher & Paykel just had a much larger presence in the US, ESPECIALLY their top load dryers. We that have them are quite spoiled with not having to bend down to remove dry clothes! Oh, P.S. under the top cover (where the buttons\knobs are) is instructional diagnostic paperwork. Explains the error codes and how to go about testing, etc.
