My girl really surprises me when she asks for new things, and this is exactly what happened here. First thing, out of the box, is that the pieces are very well made. All the parts assemble cleanly and easily where my girl just had the best time with it. I know she always watches me building stuff, where I see that she likes doing the same. Would like to have had this when she was a few years younger too. No cons, really nice set, highly recommend, where I am very happy with the purchase.

Great toy for kids who like to build. They are not easy to assemble but definitely teaches kids to follow directions!

This is a great educational toy that my son received for his birthday. He is into building and screwdrivers and so on, so this was perfect. The toys that were assembled were cute and functional. Now, my son is five (I know, I know, the recommended age is 6-12) and he was not able to build the vehicles on his own! I am cool with that though as working on them together with his dad or brother allowed for some pretty great quality time! But if you are looking for something to occupy your young child (ages 5,6 or even 7 in some cases) with while you are doing something else, that wouldn’t be your best bet. Otherwise, great toy!

My kids love to assemble the toy from scratch by his hand, so I usually bought the LEGO series for them, they had fun time to play the LEGO by building up it from nothing. However, this time I tried to bought them a toy with different from LEGO. I choose the toy with engineering education purpose and see what they feel like, and unexpectedly they love it so much, more challenge and fun than LEGO they used to play. Moreover, this toys is very suitable for building up the relationship between parents and kids, in most of part, the parents need to help them to put some pieces together so that kids able to screw in. I am highly recommended it for the kids love to assemble toys by hand and play toys in a creative way.

This building set was a birthday gift for my 6 yr. old grandson. He couldn’t wait to tear open the packages to start building. We loved that even tools were included with the parts. Using his imagination he started to put parts together that weren’t even destined to be one of the five possible vehicles in the instructions. The instructions are very clear & should make these toys easy to assemble, much better than Legos kits. With five possible vehicles this kit is a great value.

I've just been contacted by Layken about my dissatisfaction with this toy. They offered replacement or refund but neither is needed. Grandson reports nothing broken and his mother said the toy seems very sturdy, so I pass this data along to you if you're considering this toy. The box did look shabby, but maybe Layken has updated its shipping dept. Final review opinion: it is a good toy, much enjoyed by six-yr-old grandson, so I've upped review to 4 stars. Still one off for careless handling at factory or in transit from China..

I gave this as a gift for my 8 year old grandson and he loved it. He is learning the mechanics of building especially with tools. You can build several things with this one kit, making it very worth the price. It's really easy and fun to build and he has really been enjoying building the different models.
