The seller states its weight is 8.15 ounces.

according to the ruler etched on the square the narrow part is 1" wide and the wider part is 1-1/2" wide.

how deep is it? The bottom bar is less deep than the top bar; how deep is the top bar? across the bar not end to end

how deep is it? Not very deep The bottom bar is less deep than the top bar? It is the same bottom and top how deep is the top bar? You can run your figure across the the engraved and feel that it is raised up

Are the markings along the ruler printed or engraved?

They are printed/painted on, the people who are saying "engraved" are probably feeling the thickness of the paint. The paint job is quite poor on mine, I see the same defects on the seller's photos, just fewer of them.
