Bits and Pieces - 1000 Piece Round Puzzle - Ninety Nine Butterflies, Flowers and Butterflies - - 1000 pc Jigsaw

A challenging puzzle, given that many of the butterflies share the same colors. I had to use the box lid constantly.The finish is smooth and shiny - looks like porcelain. The picture itself is beautiful, I really enjoyed putting this one together and watching the butterflies take shape.The round layout was interesting. With no top or bottom, there was no competition for who got the best place to work from. The pieces are cut in concentric circles, making it pretty easy to see what edge goes toward the center and which to the outside.

This puzzle is beautiful and a real challenge. Once it is together I do believe I will glue this one. I love butterflies so I was drawn to this one. It may be a bigger circle than you anticipate but the pieces are well made.

Have not put it together yet - we have a new tradition of putting together challenging puzzles when various members of our family get together in Eastern NC. We have a reunion in a couple of weeks and will be trying to get this one together. I saw this one and it appears to be pretty well challenging to try to get it all together in a weekend.Update 9/19/2017: Finally had family reuion and puzzle was a hit!. With all the other activities not as much time was spent on it as hoped, but enough to know that a short weekend was not enough time to finish this one. Everyone agreed it was also the prettiest puzzle they have seen. Look forward to going back in the next couple of months to work on it some more.

Challenging puzzle that I bought for my wife, I thought it would take her at least a week to complete. She is a very good puzzle solver, so in her case it only took her 3 days. The pieces are deceiving as the shapes and colors don't always go where you think they should, however the puzzle is high quality and certainly fun to do. Overall I recommend this puzzle, it fun to complete and will challenge your puzzle skills.

This puzzle IS challenging, I give you that. And it has a shiny glossy finish that makes it save-worthy. Wonderful quality.But this is a puzzle that will take months to finish. It would be helpful if they provided a large picture to refer to, since the pattern is extremely complicated.I'm revising my initial rating because the puzzle has me hooked. I was surprised to find the pieces weren't interlocking, but I'm finding that they will interlock on at least 1 side, so my opinion has changed. Just make sure you can leave it in progress somewhere for a lonnnnggg time...

This puzzle was absolutely lovely. It was the first time I’ve done a circular puzzle, and I found it quite challenging without being frustrating. The pieces were high quality and fit together with a satisfying snap. If forced to nitpick, I would say the glaze/seal on the image is reflective and I prefer a matte look, but it did not subtract from my experience. I would recommend it.

This puzzle is hard, but not frustrating. It is beautiful and as each piece gets put it, it is delightful to see each butterfly appear. All pieces were accounted for. If you're trying to decide whether to buy it or not, do it!! You will enjoy this one!

It’s a really beautiful painting, so much detail and color, but print is a bit soft for comfort. The pieces came apart ridiculously easy. It’s a toss up whether I spent more time putting it together or putting it back together. All there is for clues is the little box top, which is about a quarter the size of the puzzle. I’ve got really excellent eyesight but I was hard pressed to find anything subtle and there’s a lot of subtle going on. If the picture hadn’t been so beautiful I would have sent it back. Bits and Pieces puzzles are ordinarily too expensive for my puzzle budget. I read all the time how excellent they are so when this went on sale I was pretty excited. It ended up disappointing me, sadly. I don’t know if I will try another by this company. Especially as they hardly ever have sales and maybe then only the low quality puzzles? Its gonna have to be very tempting for me to try another Bits and Pieces puzzle.
