hi there, what is it's shelf's life ? and does it smell ? i'm planing to use it as body oil. thank you!

I've had this open and have been using it for 4 months. No sign of rancidity. Neutral clean smell. Haven't tried the body oil thing but it's perfect for stir fry in a wok.

The label says it's a product of Mexico!

Did anyone else have a small black spherical object inside the oil along with a taped down lid?

The lid was taped down, but no black object.

What is the refining process?
