Very satisfied customer
This 3 layers personal protective ventilated apiary suit performed very well in 95-degree heat with high humidity weather in southeastern Louisiana. The fit was true to size, the elastic bands at the ankles and wrists were strong and snug. The fencing veil afforded a wide field of vision. would recommend this suit and vendor to other customers. Very satisfied Customer.

Decent suit, NOT sting proof
Got my suit last year and I've done a number of yellowjacket and bald faced hornet removals, in addition to regular beekeeping. First, I will start with the things I love about my suit:1. The weight- this suit is fairly light and very breathable. I usually wear shorts and a tshirt when working my hives, and when there's a breeze, I can feel it through my suit which is great. Still gets hot when it's hot and humid out. I'm pretty sure that's unavoidable regardless of the suit. It's wonderful and super-comfortable in spring and fall, I wear a neck fan and am still soaked with sweat in the summer.2. The zippers at the ankles- they don't go all the way up like some suits, but definitely far enough to put the suit on while wearing sneakers. I usually wear boots, so I put them on after I put my suit on, it's just easier. Don't forget to zip the bottoms afterward, or you will have dozens of bees crawling up your legs (ask me how I know!)3. The length. I'm 5'11" and 155 lbs. I ordered a large and it's very roomy and comfortable....and LONG on me, which is rare to find a suit that is long enough (I've returned an Ultra Breeze suit for that reason)4. The zippers seem sturdy and are still working great. I like how the veil zips and unzips from both sidesThings I don't like:1. NOT sting proof!! I've been stung a number of times through my suit. I now wear a baseball cap to keep the veil from touching the top of my head and it also keeps it away from my face). I've been stung on my head, legs, and arms through the suit. Basically, if the suit touches your skin, a stinger can still reach you. If I'm working a hot hive or doing a hornet or yellowjacket removal, I wear an extra thick layer underneath (not fun in the summer)2. The elastic loops that go around my thumbs are stretched out and cause the sleeves to go up a little which has resulted in a few wrist stings. I've simply tied a knot halfway on the loops and they work fine now.3. I didn't realize til about 6 months in, there was a 1" spot on the veil where the netting didn't meet the rest of the veil near my face (manufacturing error). Bees could have gotten it, but I've since sewn it shut4. Pockets- I wish the hip pockets were deeper or had velcro because my cell phone falls out when I squat. I like to have my phone nearby in case I need to take pics of something I see inside the hive, or to send customers pics from removals.5. Tears easily- I have a few tears in the top layer in the front of my suit, probably from carrying boxesOverall, it's a decent suit for docile hives, but wear an extra layer and baseball cap for hot hives or removals....LOVE the length!!!

Good protection
Size is accurate, provides good protection from stings, and isn't as hot too wear.

Warning, not safe.
If you want to get stung by a bee then this is the suit for you. The first time I wore the suit I was stung three times on my neck, the second time I wore it I was stung five more times on the neck and on my side. I have tried to take extra precautions by putting duct tape where zippers end so no space can be entered but they still got in and stung me. I have searched the suit all over and I can't find a hole anywhere, I really don't know how they are getting into the suit so I can no longer use the suit. I need to do quite a bit so my hive will continue to do well but now without a suit I can't even get near them. Buy at your own risk.
