A bit smaller, but sounds very good!
I am using this speaker to replace the 5" speaker in my little, old Pignose guitar amp. The speaker in the amp basically disintegrated over time, and they want way too much for an original replacement speaker. The positive: This new speaker sounds pretty good! I mean, this little amp has never sounded like the best amps out there, but it wasn't meant for that. It's a fun, small, low wattage, portable amp that very easily distorts when you crank it up. It serves my purposes to test guitars out on my workbench for my part-time guitar repair sideline business I started during lockdown. So overall, I like this little speaker. Seems well-built, too. It's made in Korea, and some nice stuff comes out of Korea. It's also nice to see something that is not made in China for a change.Cons: For the purpose for which I am using it, it's a bit smaller than the original Pignose speaker, so I had to be creative to mount it. It does not fit the original screw studs of the amp, so I used some screw clips to hold it in place. And, since the original grill cloth and "Pignose" emblem is missing from my amp, I used an old Radio Shack "Realistic" car stereo speaker grill that I had laying around, and screwed it all together. Works great! Other than the size, it works perfectly! So, I can't fault the company for it not being a direct replacement for my purposes. It's performing as it was designed to perform. And, the price is way less than an OEM Pignose speaker. This speaker is rated at 20 watts at 8 ohms. I think it would make a very good project or replacement full range speaker for some low power bookshelf speakers.

Looks Good..
I got this for a replacement speaker for a Mono Price Indio Battery guitar amp....You see... I got one before and blew out the little speaker that came with it and as I ordered an extra one recently I got this speaker as an Extree...Update... I just installed it and it checks out fine... Only problem is that the sensitivity ( SPL ) is lower than the original speaker... I have to turn it up a lot...Plus side is that it has it has real good BASS... I'll have to check it out with my bass guitfdle...Oh I forgot to say that I'm running my MP3 thru it and it has a full range sound.

Great fit!
I have finally replaced the midrange speakers on my Optimus T-120 with the correct size ones. Good to see the 3-way speakers the way they are supposed to look.
