Exciting and Prophetic
If you are Christian, you need to read this book. If you are Jewish, you need to read this book. If you are neither, you need to read this book. If you are like me, I like to underline and make notes when reading something significant. I probably should have just underlined this whole thing.Bible prophesy is an area where you have to be careful to absolutely verify the facts written by the actual 'Word of God', The Bible. This book is a well researched piece of work that is laced throughout with Biblical truth. In addition to that, it also contains scientific and secular truths that are also completely documented. The explanation of the 'blood moons' in itself is nothing less than astounding.God's people, the Jews have been an oppressed people since the beginning of time, but they are 'The Apple of Gods' Eye.' Without a doubt God loves them as His chosen people, and no matter what powers that have tried and continue to try to eliminate them, Israel will survive.Learn the significance of the 'blood moons' in Jewish History. Look at the significance in the Jewish future. John Hagee, like anyone else is not infallible. You may not agree with all of his determinations, but you can surely agree with God's Word. This is a wonderful, wonderful read and I urge you read it, study it, go to your Bible to verify it and then 'look to the skys' into God's creation of the heavens, the stars, the sun, the galaxies and of course the moon.

.
I liked this book, Four Blood Moons, because it is scholarly and accurate about the end times and the rapture of Jesus Christ. The four blood moons refer to specific times in the Jewish calendar and their significance to prophecy. Hagee shows discrepancies in interpreting passages in Revelations. A must read for our times

Definitely worth reading!
There are 3 sections to the book, Section 3 is entitled "The Four Blood Moons" and is primarily where Pastor Hagee describes what has happened during these rare events. The first two sections are very important to get the "whole picture" and to fully understand Hagee's information and his thoughts about both the previous AND the upcoming four blood moons which also had/have a total solar eclipse occurring within their sequence.Finding out that the next Tetrad starts in 2014 & ends in 2015, and realizing that time period contains a Shemittah year (Sabbatical year) makes it even more intriguing. I love to study prophecy and this book is definitely thought provoking. It contains a lot of good information, much of which I was either not aware of or had never put together. Example, 2001 was a Shemittah - everyone remembers 09/11/2001, so was 2008 when the stock market collapsed 777 points [on 09/29/2008]. I can understand Pastor Hagee's recommendation that we pay attention - as he states in the book, only three Tetrads linked to Jewish history/feasts have occurred in the last over 500 years and that these were the only Tetrads that had a total solar eclipse somewhere within the series of blood moons - BUT even more intriguing is the fact that the upcoming Tetrad is the only one containing a Shemittah year.I like Hagee and although I don't always agree with everything he says, perhaps he is right, maybe the heavens are God's high-definition billboard. What he says in this book is worth considering.

Good Balanced View
Four blood moons in a period of two years is not that rare. But four blood moons at the same time as the Passover and Feast of Tabernacles with a solar eclipse in there is extremely rare. The last three times it happened, were 1493-94, 1948-49, and 1967-68. All three times this happened, some major event happened to the Jews and the world changed because of it. So it's no wonder the Christian community is going crazy with all kinds of predictions since it's happening again in 2014-15.I was interested to hear what Hagee said about this phenomenon since I heard so much weird stuff about it. I also heard that Hagee predicts this is the time when the Rapture will happen. I was pleasantly surprised that Hagee did not do that in this book nor did he make all kinds of predictions. He said in the last chapter, "The coming Four blood Moons of 2014-15 does not mean the Rapture is going to happen during that time. Why? Because the Rapture could happen at any moment."What Hagee did do in this book is to give us a Scriptural reference for the signs of the time and a pre-tribulation Rapture, and a little history about the events that happened the last three times we had this event. He also gave some history about the Jewish people. He connected the dots to all of this to conclude that something is about to happen although he didn't proclaim to know what and that we should all be ready by making Christ our Lord. This book was very balanced and accurate theologically without getting into nonsence. It also was informative and interesting. It did however have some sections that were a bit sluggish and redundant. Overall it was a good read that I recommend for anyone who wants to learn more about the four blood moons.
