Seems superior to Velcro brand
I have been using the similar Velcro brand straps for 10 years on my boat. They don't get exposed to the elements while sailing, but do get a lot of sun and rain over the summer while the boat is on a mooring. They last a season or two before they disintegrate, mostly from UV exposure. I bought the Envisioned because they were a little longer, and seemed sturdier. The 40 inch length listed is mostly meaningless. What you should care about is the minimum and maximum circumference when cinched. Minimum is 20.75 inches and maximum is 34 inches. The gripping section on the Envisioned is significantly larger than the Velcro. 5.5 inches compared to 3.5 inches, giving the Envisioned greater strength as long as the rest of the materials can handle the load.Velcro glues the two sections together while Envisioned seems to use a heat bonding system. The glue method is a major failure point. It remains to be seen how the heat bonding holds up the elements.I did a strength test on the Envisioned strap. See attached photos. My goal was not to find out the maximum weight it could withstand, just to test if it could hold more weight than I would ever likely apply. What was handy to test with was a 38 lb full propane tank. Envisioned held without a groan, so I'm satisfied that strength will not be a problem for me.The Envisioned feels like it is made from heavier materials than the Velcro, so I'm expecting a longer useful life. Only time will tell.

Life Saver and Bike Saver
These things are a life saver, or more accurately, a bike-saver! We used them as a back-up, strapping our road bike wheels to our hitch-mount tray style bike rack for a long 1,000 mile road trip through Appalachia. On the ride home, through loads of bumpy highway construction, one of the clamps holding the bikes to the hitch loosened and the bike bounced it's way off the rails. These straps held to the wheels and kept the bike attached to the hitch and attached to the truck. We were flagged down by another motorist letting us know we were dragging a bike, and thanks to these straps were able to save a very valuable bike that would've been toast, and could've caused a serious accident. Sure, there was some subtle damage to the wheels, dragged as they were, but these things seriously earned their keep.

Double sided w/loop would make this a 5 star product and not so limited in use as a strap.
These straps are handy and the velcro connection is surprisingly strong! The reason I removed 2 stars is the lack of flexability of he pruduct use. It only has loop material on one side of the strap. This means if you have to overlap the strap when wrapping something up, it doesnt have anything to stick to as only 1 side has loop material. If it was double sided you would be able to tightly wrap anything from 1/4 in up to 19 in.I would buy again if it was double sided loop.

Great straps!
I have been using Zip-Ties to install motorcycle tires for several years but I wanted to try cinch straps.Total success! Much better than Zips for this purpose and I will be able to use these on my bike for all kinds of things.Large Zips are expensive and are a pain to release to be able to use again and they still only lasted once or twice before breaking. These soft straps are easy to use and reuse. I bought a bunch of them in various lengths and will be ordering more of these with my next Amazon order. If you are not familiar with Zip-Tie tire mounting just search YouTube and give it a try.By far the easiest way to install tires, especially tires with tubes.

MANY TO CHOOSE FROM.
These are Really nice Straps. If I’d done just a Little more research B4 I made this Purchase, I would have paid more and bought the ones that actually have a Metal Eyelets for putting the Strap through to pull the Tension or tighten it up, if for no other reason for the durability aspect of it, Hence my only reasoning behind my 4 Stars for Durability. They have a Great selection of products for ya to choose from so do a little research B4 you pop for anything. I will be purchasing more of this Brand. Even the Wife thinks they are worth the $$.

So far so good!
I bought these to replace the crappy little lines that holds our ARB room-tent tight when folded away. It was always a pain to compress the folded tent enough, tie the little lines together and find out that it was barely tight enough to fit in the bag! With these straps, I can get the folded tent compressed enough and then cinch it down more. Our room-tent has never packed so small, it's awesome! Even the bag to hold it is loose around the tent now.Only gripe is the plastic buckles. I pulled tightly on the straps to compress the tent and I can see them deform a tiny bit. I just hope they hold up for a while.

Used them to fix my patio furniture
Works well. It's a strap, it cinches, it's reusable - pretty much as describedI purchased as an alternative to replacing the vinyl straps on my patio furniture. Not sure if you've ever tried replacing those the proper way but it's a real PITA. You've got to know how to calculate the right measurement. Then you cut the strap, drill holes for the fasteners, trim the ends to remove the corners and boil it for several minutes to soften it. Then you pull it out of the boiling water with tongs and try to quickly install it while wearing thick rubber gloves so you don't burn your hands. And when you took to long and it cooled off too much so it doesn’t stretch enough, you have to start all over again.Or you can buy these straps, cinch them nice and tight and you're done in about the same amount of time it takes to put on your belt. As extra security, I may stitch or rivet them closed but right now it doesn't feel necessary. But that's so easy to do.

These really work as advertised and look good doing it.
Very well made. Hey, I know its just a cinch strap, but I wanted a 1" wide strap that has a tough buckle that would not break when you really reef on it, and this is the one. Also, they do not fold in on themselves width wise which has been super irritating on cheaper straps. Length is great. I use them on my motorcycle to cinch together rolled up jacket liners, pant liners, rain gear and other stuff. Great job, one more piece of gear that works and I don't have to worry about. Thanks for making a good product.
