Perfect for Ice Climbing. Great dexterity & extremely waterproof!!!
Amazing product! Showa gloves are perfect for ice climbing and mountaineering. They are extremely waterproof but breathable at the same time. The fleece lining is comfortable and keeps your hands warm but not too warm. The gloves also include a textured grip which is an extra plus to great dexterity the gloves already have.

wonderful
ice climbed up to grade 4+. super warm, super grippy and very comfortable. no ice up when very wet conditions. very waterproof and breathable (how da do dat?). mild wear spots due to friction when rappelling ... maybe best to change to a leather unit for rappelling?... i placed a spot of shoe goo on these sites between climbs. these spots never wore through full thickness and repairs did not influence grippiness and other features. Definitely need a gauntlet to be sewed on when in snow. I use older Patagonia boxer shorts, using the waist band as the "upper" elastic cuff. 1 pair of boxers per pair of glove. best bargain in climbing gloves ever. why aren't the big players making gloves from this fabric is anyone's guess.

Warm and waterproof
These work perfect when changing farm animal water in the winter. Even when it below 0 my hands stay warm for about 20 minutes, long enough to break water off trough surface and haul a few buckets. Hands stay warm all day when temp in teens and twenties.I have tried similar gloves but keep coming back to repurchase these. I have needed a new pair each winter because I use them every day and the water proof coating gets a hole in it from wire fence or something else sharp.

Great gloves but didn’t last long, still one of the best water resistant gloves out there
I work as a yacht detailer and I will say the warmth on these gloves is phenomenal and so is the water resistance. I’ve had them for a little less than two months now and they blue speckles on the outside of the glove is already falling apart and leaving a mess everywhere. I will say I use them about 30-35 hours a week so the couple small holes and other wear and tear could be the tough use I’ve put into them but nonetheless wish they lasted longer. Even though I’m putting 4 stars, still going to get another pair.

So far, excellent
I've been using these for over a week now, dealing with the Dec-Jan 2023 atmospheric rivers in Northern California. I'm a gardener / maintenance person, cleaning gutters and drains, and working outside in 45-degree, wet weather. These, so far, have performed admirably over the past two weeks. Waterproof. Tough enough to handle scraping on shingles, gutter hardware, and drainage grates.I wouldn't want to use them for any length of time in temps lower than 40C; the insulation wouldn't be adequate. But, for where and when and how I work right now, they're great. I'm going to buy a second pair and leave them under the seat of my truck. Recommended.

Waterproof and warmer than I thought.
I have really enjoyed being able to work in wet snow and slush and keeping my hands totally dry. I have extremely cold hands. These definitely aren't going to compare my $150 ski gloves for warmth, but I'm surprised at how warm they are for shorter durations and the dexterity is great.
