Works well
Price is great. I got the larger size. Plastic is good. The first one i ordered was cheap wood and arrived spintered. I like this 360 better than the rocker style. I have used both in PT. I would liked to have bought the one with the big half sphere rubber ball to do more of the exercizes but the cost was more than double. This one hs a small hard plastic rounded bottom. I can tell my balance is better. The grandkids think it is great. Will be easier to keep clean too.

very nice - just depends on what surface you plan to use it
I really like this balance board - it is built well and sturdy. It has small firm plastic spikes on the top and also on the bottom that are great for stability on the ground as well as where you step. The only thing is that I prefer to use it on carpet and either barefoot or wearing socks and the small spikes are just slightly uncomfortable, and I'm concerned that the spikes on the bottom will damage the carpet over time; I also probably wouldn't want to use it on wood flooring - the bottom spikes could damage the surface over time.If you are using it on a hard surface - i.e. tile or concrete, and wearing shoes - it would be great - stable and comfortable. But if you want to use it on carpet or a softer surface, you may want to look at other options.

HIGH QUALITY
I love this piece of equipment. It does what it said it can. It is helping me to regain my ankle flexibility and strength, plus improving my sense of balance. Looking at the Instructions, that came with it; I can see I can do more excersizes, when I regain more of my healthiness (in a few weeks). This device is made to have fun using, while getting a necessary functional rehab workout.Everyone should have one of their own, and USE it regularly. Then, challenge yourself to a better Quality, more Demanding, yet simple workout. Best Wishes!

Aggressive ankle and foot exerciser
Melissa's husband here. I have had a second foot surgery. After long immobilization, I had very stiff ankle and foot movement. This balance board is helping a lot! We have hardwood floors and the rubber bumps make it super-grippy. I use it while holding onto to our heavy dining table but you can also hold onto a kitchen countertop. Physical therapists use these wobble/balance boards in their offices. I recommend for anyone wanting to maintain or increase their flexibility for tennis, pickleball, dancing, etc.

Stroke Survivor tool
I purchased this because the Physical therapist used it when working on my balance in the clinic. I thought I would be able to use it at home by myself. IT DID NOT WORK. I FELL. However, after my fall I refused to give up on this sturdy piece of equipment and instead use it for arm and hand exercises. By holding on to the open parts, I was able to mimic driving a car. This actually helped me get back to driving. I also use it for overhead raises and swing it using one hand to gain my arm swing back. Stoke survivors please be cautious when purchasing this item for balance. I hope to use this item as I become steadier. It is sturdy and it is a good buy for your home gym. Recovery is forever.

Can be great..
This is an advanced unit. First the pros:small diameter, tall height, tacky bottom, light travel weight. Then the cons:slippery plastic top requires a low cost, non-skid shelf or tool box liner;plastic under molding, means no recovery from a steep-angle on a tile or hardwood floor.Beginners may want to use on carpet or a floor mat.

Use on mat or thin rug for safety
I really like this balance board and enjoy using it. However, the fact that it is hard plastic on the bottom, makes it slippery on a hard surface. I will put it on my yoga mat or on an area rug so that it won’t slip out from under me. That’s the only reason I gave it for and not five stars.

great sturdy balance board
This is really sturdy. i was worried buying one that it would be flimsy or would have stress points and im so glad i bought this one that is all one piece as its been great. had it for a while now and even the kids have jmuped about and played on it and its holding up well. can be used on carpet or wooden floor as it has a non slip section on the bottom.nice and light to move around and the handles are helpful, particularly if using it for plank/push ups etc.

Better than standing still - Standing desk improvement
If you use a standing desk, I can definitely recommend getting one of these balancing boards. It helps keep the legs engaged and weight shuffling around. Added benefit you can do some exercises on it. 4/5 stars because the bottom balancing pins are already wearing out after 10 days of use. Wonder how long it will last.
