These reflective patches with velcro backing look great. They're clearly visible from a distance, but not so much that you silhouette yourself.

It is what it is....
The patches are VELCRO backed, I was specifically looking for Iron on for my leather jacket and I called Amazon CS and spoke with a CS Rep who stated these were in fact iron on with a Velcro backing. This would have been okay if it came with the both the "hook and loop" (I've never heard this term prior so I had reservations to begin with.... If in doubt DON'T buy it!). Secondly, they are cheaply made (very costume) or so they feel as such. There is a foam or batting filler in between the 2 layers and it feels like foam to the touch which to me is a put off.That said, they are visually appealing, nice formatted lettering, great size, perfect for costume just not high quality.
