Very durable.

If you're rebuilding a wheel, the lacing is easy, the truing is another story. Don't even think about it without a spoke tension gauge. The hub was adjusted perfectly right out of the box. Definitely recommend.

So far it's been working perfectly. Rebuilt wheel keeps true, and I had to go one gear down to compensate the load - this wheel rolls much better than the old one with the same rim and spokes. The only reason I give 4 stars is because I found set of hubs (both front and back for the same price as this one) that also has disk break installation option - would have ordered that one if I found it at the right moment.

Needed a replacement hub for my Harper’s unsealed low flange hub. These sealed hubs dimensions are identical so I was able to reuse my old spokes. Hub seems well made and rolls smoothly.

I ordered this product and it came to me with only 32 holes for the spokes. I contacted the seller and they suggested that it was a fluke in shipping, so I returned them and reordered another hub. The second one also arrived with only 32 holes. The build quality was very nice with a nice finish. I like the fact that it used commercially available sealed bearings instead of the traditional open bearing on most older bicycles. But since it didn't fit it made no difference and went back. If you need a 32 hole hub I highly recommend these but from this vendor you may get 36 holes.
