Fenix has taken the little E15 to an unbelievable level. The light itself is only slightly larger than the battery it runs on, and yet it's capable of producing brighter outputs than flashlights many times its size. This flashlight is just 2.55 inches long and weights 1 ounce without the battery installed. Powered by a single 16340 battery or a CR123A battery, the E15 can produce 450 lumens in its highest mode! Then to top it off--the maximum beam distance is 433 feet! Stupid good
Great flashlight. I have owned several other Fenix lights over the years and they've all been great. This one is finally small enough that I take it with me everywhere I go. I also own the Fenix E12, which is a single AA light, and that is just bit too large to stash in a pocket without noticing it there. This light, however, virtually vanishes. The multiple brightness levels are great, and the brightest setting is VERY impressive from such a small light. The small size of the light is one of the best parts, but it also makes it difficult to hold. To help with this I have a small paracord fob on a split ring through the hole at the end. This lets me get a better grip on the light while still being flexible and feeling small in the pocket. I used to question the utility of having a flashlight with you at all times (phones have lights, I know, but they're not great for long-term use and drain the battery right quick), but since I've started keeping this with me it has come in handy more times than I can count. From helping people find things they dropped in a dark parking lot, to connecting computer cables in the dark under a desk, to finding something I dropped under the seat in my car, it's great. If i could make ONE change though, and only one, I'd prefer a clicky tailcap switch. The turn switch is very nice, stiff enough to not turn on accidentally while still being easy to turn on with one hand, but I still would rather have a tail switch for power and to cycle through the modes. Anyway, it's a great light and you should probably buy one if you want a stupidly bright light that you could fit in the silly 'coin pocket' on your Levis.

This model is bigger than it used to be to make it brighter than I need it to be.
My old E15 burned out after several years. They have lasted 3-6 years in my pocket every day until the heads burn out. This one is fine. I suppose I like the rechargeable battery. The problem is that the head and the neck of the body are bigger in diameter than the old ones. I don't care that the new ones are now so bright (with use of the rechargeable battery) that you can make small children cry with it. That's not the reason I bought the light. I bought it to be easy enough to carry that I never don't have it with me, small enough that I don't notice it being in the way, and bright enough to light up what I want to see when I use it a few times a week. This fits the bill, but it doesn't do so as well as the previous model. I do notice the size difference in my front pocket.I thought I would be annoyed by the new pattern. The old ones were: off - medium - low - high - off. This new one is: off - low - medium - high - OMG!! - offSince I was happy with using the medium setting most of the time with the previous version I presumed that starting off in low would be irritating. It isn't to me. Instead I was surprised to find that the low setting was plenty of light more often that I predicted.

The flashlight I've always dreamed of
This is the flashlight I've always wanted. I may have purchased more flashlights than anyone I know, yet I still hadn't found one I could carry with me everywhere I go that is small enough and bright enough to be more useful than the flashlight built into my phone. The size and power of this flashlight are a game changer. It's amazing how many opportunities arise to use a flashlight when you've always got one in your pocket. I love the 4 brightness settings. Each setting has it's purpose and is useful. It still blows my mind how bright the maximum setting is. You can light up your entire bedroom at night just by pointing it at the ceiling, bouncing light everywhere. It also has really good range. All in all, I'm quite happy.

Tiny and Blinding!
This is a great light, one that feels tough enough to survive in my pocket along with a wad of keys, change and random hardware bits and pieces.I haven't seen anything close to this bright in such a small package. I can't judge if it's actually 450 lumens or not, but it is brighter than more than a few of my 2-3 year-old CR123A and 18650 flashlights. I like the rechargeable battery because, as bright as the light is, I suspect this puppy would go through non-rechargeable lithium batteries at a rapid clip. This replaces a nice keychain light with a push-button on-off switch that turned itself on in my pocket and drained its battery on more than one occasion.I usually don't spend this much money a keychain lights, but in this case, the power is worth it. I don't have any trouble seeing myself using this light for some situations in which I would normally grab a larger pocket flash.I would definitely buy this again. If it does anything other than grow old in my pocket or disappoints in any way, I'll update this review.

Best Keychain Flashlight Ever!
Yes, your smart phone has a flashlight feature. No, that's not good enough. You really should have a genuinely useful and powerful flashlight on your keychain. You'll buy it thinking it'll be for emergencies, then you'll use it so much you'll wonder how you ever lived without it.This one has 450 lumens which is magnificent for such a small light. It can really throw a beam across your backyard and light up a large area. Plus the lithium battery is rechargeable and comes with it's own recharging cord. Super convenient and it'll save you a ton on batteries.Just get it -- you'll be glad you did.

Great product!
I really like the Fenix flashlights. Great quality at a reasonable price and they work as advertised. The E15 has four brightness settings (low, a little brighter, bright and VERY bright). I like how Fenix listened to its customers and simplified the brightness mechanism. Now you simply rotate 1/4 turn to turn it on and 1/4 to turn it off and 1/4 to tighten to move to the next level of brightness. Thus each 1/4 turn on and off and on again goes to the next level of brightness. Very simple and very reliable. AT 450 lumens it is very bright. The rechargeable battery is really nice. Just plug in a microUSB charging cable and.....well that's it. It takes about an hour or two to go from very low to fully charged. If you need a small yet bright flashlight, this is the one.
