Works Well - Super Easy and Clean!
I was dealing with a mouse problem and decided to try this electric mouse trap after other traps had failed. I’m honestly amazed — it caught 4 mice in just 3 days! It’s extremely simple to set up, very easy to clean, and best of all, there’s no mess or blood. If you’re squeamish like me and can’t stand the idea of seeing a mouse stuck in a snap trap, this is absolutely the way to go. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a quick, clean, and humane (as possible) solution.

Works well
This works really well. I live in an apartment so when the colder months hit this trap catches a lot of mice (one at a time) it has a green light, that lights up whenever one is caught. I recommended others to get this since it works well. I will say, I heard it catch a mouse once and it made a very loud zap but it wad quick and strange which later turned out to be the catch. This is not sticky and in my opinion more humane for catching and killing rather than sicky traps. Its super easy to clean, all you do is turn the switch off and take the lid off and dump it into the trash can. I have had this for over a year and still have not had to replace the batteries on it. The battery life is excellent!

The most effective trap that we've tried... easy to set upa d
Bought 2 of these traps a year ago on a whim. And mainly b/c other traps had failed us... even the standard Victor traps. These traps have been the most effective out of all the ones we tried. Easy to set up, quick to dispose of the mouse, and the batteries last a long time (I usually change em once a year anyways). Highly recommended!!

Efficient, Effective, Humane
Have a problem with rodents? Not after buying this you won't. Don't let the fact that it uses electricity dissuade you. This isn't like the electric chair or those bug zippers with a long drawn electric buzz that ends up smelling like burnt hair. It is a single high-voltage rapid-discharge of electricity that makes a quick popping sound then silence. The whole process takes less than 1 second. The rodent doesn't suffer, it doesn't feel a thing. It is by far much more humane than glue traps, snap traps, or poison. To reset, pick up trap with rodent still inside, dispose of rodent by turning upside down into waste receptacle, replace trap, tap the button to activate, periodically check trap. Repeat.

Mind blown
Let me preface this review with stating that I am “unreasonably” afraid of mice.I’m a first time living alone gal, with a boyfriend who lives across the country and a dad who lives too far away to be worried about a mouse. I was faced with the daunting task of dealing with this on my own, with the nightmares of people I know complaining about a mouse problem that can’t seem to be solved. So if you’re like me and unnerved by these little critters, then you could probably imagine the panic that consumed me when I first saw the darned thing scurrying across my counter.Anyway, I quickly began my search for the most efficient way to get rid of the critter with the least amount of interaction. Stumbled across this trap and thought hey, why not. Couldn’t do a sticky trap, and turned off from the whole snapping thing (far too jumpy of a person for something to randomly snap at me). I ordered this trap and it was delivered this morning (thank you overnight Amazon) and set the zappy boy up before I left for work this morning, hoping to the mouse trap gods that it would be over when I got home.Well it wasn’t, and I mostly blame my placement of the trap, but not to get too off topic from my adrenaline fueled review, I moved the trap to the counter where I spotted the bugger before. I sprinkled a tiny bit of cheese in front of the entrance to the trap and went about my evening. Not long after settling in did I hear the faintest of buzzing noises, and at first, I was skeptical. No way it worked in the first day. So I got up to check and sure enough, the blinking green light was indicating a capture. Still skeptical, I peeked into the side vent, and indeed saw a little critter inside.Daunting step 1 of 2 complete. After getting over the fact that it WORKED, and quite quickly at that, I had to hype myself for the second part of this adventure, which was getting rid of the mouse. Turns out it’s really quite easy: remove the lid and toss the mouse out. Took a couple minutes for me, and a few pokes of the broomstick to ensure it had surely worked, but eventually dumped it and ran it to the trash. Clean up for the trap was super easy and quick, too, washed up and reset in no time at all, y’know, just in case.Long story short if you are looking for an EASY, QUIET and QUICK WORKING trap, your search should end here. I’m thoroughly pleased with this product, and took a lot of stress off my shoulders in less than 24 hours. Still mind blown. Very worth the money.PS if you’re scared like me, your feelings are valid, and you can do it!

IT WORKS! BUY IT!
Very happy with this trap. Had it for a year or so now. Just put a tiny dab of peanut butter in there and bam! I have used cheese as well. You just need to know what kind your rodent prefers. I like that the kids don't see it and I can tell them I have 'trapped' the mouse and I'm letting it go when I dispose of it in the woods. No poison so its safe for my cat. I turn it off before opening it so I don't know if you would get any significant jolt or not should you happen to touch the plate. I have heard it working one night (actively taking out a mouse) and aside from a slight noise it's barely noticeable. I didn't even hear the rodent. I unfortunately get mice especially in the winter and they decided to take up space in my stove. I leave this near the stove by the backsplash and it works! And I like that I don't see much of the poor rodent when I dispose of it (can just tip it and look away while opening and disposing of it). It also seems more hygienic as it's not an open trap so things stay contained.Would def recommend. I've caught a lot of mice and still have yet to need a battery change. It's a nice alternative for the places your cat doesn't tend to. My cat does a fabulous job, but knows he can't be on the counter.
