Yes, I carry a 9mm Zastava M88 in mine.

How is it when sitting down? Does it print or dig in/make it hard to sit?

Depends on wher you position it...any sidearm in any holester can and will ‘dig in’ and print if you don’t position the holster properly and wear the right clothing. I’ve carried concealed for over 30 years and this is one of the best IWB holesters i’ve found...better than some very expensive custom made ones even.

Has anyone had any luck using this as an owb holster?

It does have good retention yes. Super comfortable worn on the outside or inside though.
