Great heel support, picking a size advice
I have problem feet and plantar fasciitis issues and I'm always buying new shoes. These are the most comfortable shoes that I've worn in a long time and I liked them so much that I got my Mom a pair too. They aren't a miracle (I still need foot massages and my dogs still bark), but I can wear them for long periods of time and not be in agony when I take them off like I am in most shoes. They are comfortable and supportive and my feet felt good in them the moment I put them on. There was no break in period, they just felt good putting on from the first time I put them on. My Mom said she really likes them too. She is on her feet most of the day for work and she says they are very comfortable and don't give her any knee issues. The heel support and cushion is awesome, that is my favorite thing about them. They also do not crowd my toes.I wear a 10 or 10.5 depending on brand, but after reading reviews I went to a size 11 in these (and sized up for my Mom too). I also ordered in Wide (D) where I normally order regular width. The shoes fit me really well both in length and width and I wouldn't have wanted any smaller. The (D) width does not look wide or like a clown shoe like some wide shoes do, it looks normal. But that little bit of extra room it gives my toes and heels makes a big difference in comfort level.

Grandma Shoes? Sometimes you have to just suck it up and buy them!
To start with, I hate enclosed shoes, but I needed some for walking! I read all the reviews and decided to get these! Boy, am I glad! I'm 70 and need to walk! But I have chronic pain with spinal stenosis and have had it since the age of 24! Anytime U can just read all day, I'll do it! However, as one ages, our joints get stuff if we don't use them! Thus, my need for shoes to walk in! I didn't want to spend more than my car costs either! I bought the stone color and while I look just like a Grandma wearing tennies,( I AM a Grandma) I hate looking like it! Oh vanity! These are great! Now to find a thinner sock that doesn't slide! And you won't see me wearing these except for walking! I can only take looking my age early in the day, not all day long!

Comfortable Sneakers
I bought two pairs. I was somewhat nervous to buy sneakers without trying them on but I only wear Saucony brand and they have always fit true to the size of my foot. Both pairs were in perfect shape with no defects. I can run long distance in comfort (purple sneakers). The white sneakers I have just worn at work with no pain or discomfort issues after 12 hours. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase on-line again.

Perfect walker for Mom
I buy Saucony, and only Saucony, running shoes. They are super comfy with great arch support. So when my mom developed neuropathy after a bad illness, she needed good, stable shoes to walk in. I got her two pairs of mid-level runners and she loved them. She wore them all through rehab; they gave her the ability (and stability) she needed to basically learn to walk again. The physical therapists all commented on how she picked a great pair of shoes for therapy. Mom's only complaint about the two pair I got her for PT were that when she wore them through winter her feet were cold -- but that's because they were runners with the exterior mesh fabric. She wanted an all leather pair -- without the "holes" -- to keep her feet cozy. So I bought two pair of these walkers (in this tan and in all white). The tan ones are really sharp looking shoes, with a nice, soft, suede exterior. She loves them, of course. As soon as she tried them on and took two steps, I could hear the exhale of relief in her voice that only comes from a comfy pair of shoes. (You know that feeling... it's the opposite of slipping on a pair of "cute" heels that you know are going to give you bunions and a lifetime of ugly, crooked toes.) Anyway, at 79, mom is no longer into the cute heels. What matters to her (and to me) are shoes that will keep her upright and putting one foot in front of the other. And these do that in comfort and style. The only trick is getting her to keep both pairs -- not because she doesn't like them -- but because she doesn't see the point in spending money on two pairs. (Did I descend from this woman? There is no such thing as too many pairs of shoes.) I think I'll just tell her I returned one pair and then wrap them up for Christmas and stick them under the tree.

Great for wide footed orthotics wearers.
I have always bought Saucony or Nike but after Nike changed their last (the mold that shoes are made on) several years ago and they have become non-starters. I have a wide foot and high arch/instep. In the past I was able to use the B/Medium width in most Sauconys but after developing a bunion, the B width is just not enough. It's hard to find Sauconys in the store in wide. I need to have the cobbler stretch my bunion spot and this doesn't really work on synthetics so I've been searching for a shoe in leather. Finally found Saucony in the EE width in leather. So glad I didn't believe the bad reviews that said the wide is no different. It is wider, but doesn't suffer from the slop factor of many wide orthopedic brands I've tried. Delighted to say, after bunion stretch procedure I am in heaven! The bonus for bunion sufferers is that the stitched reinforced areas of the show pretty much stay clear of the big toe joint area. There is one on top of the joint which can get uncomfortable after wearing for several hours but, it's still the best fitting shoe I have found in 2 years of searching. I'm hopeful this will break in. This shoe is completely compatible with orthotics after removing the insole.

The best brand shoes your feet will thank you for!
Saucony never fails. Absolutely the most comfortable brand I have ever spent my money on. As soon as my shoes arrived, I quickly put it on and right away I knew I spent my hard earned money on a right brand product. I've always wanted something that is light weight, tough and a,"feel good," on every step I take . I'm on my feet always and this shoes are the answer to my prayers. I totally recommend to anyone who's on their feet during eight hour days.

so sad..
so sad...if it aint broken, don't fix it! These were such a great shoe in the past. But they changed them and now they are poor. i should have known the minute i picked up the box from the post office, it was so light. The old style was fab, a little slice of heaven if you suffer with your feet like i do. I got these and they were too big as they were a US 8 which is about a 1/2 size bigger than a UK/Irish 6. But more importantly they don't have nearly the cushion they older model had and are now made of a cheap plastic so your feet sweat in them. back to the drawing board for me to find something as good as the old ones that i am still wearing as even though they are ready for bin they are more comfortable than the new ones. :-(

The perfect walking trainers.
I am absolutely delighted with these trainers. I have high arches and tend to walk on the sides of my feet. I have slightly broader than avarage feet and although UK 5 usually fit me I got the UK 5.5 C/D fitting. Perfect!! Won't be buying anything else in future. I do a lot of power walking and these are so comfortable. Fabulous find!!

Good dog walking shoes
These shoes are light weight and pretty water resistant. I walked in the melted snow today along the side walks and my feet stayed dry. I walk 2-3 hours a day in all weather. These shoes are three season. Good price...I have to see how long they last.

So comfortable
Gave these shoes a 5 rating because they are so comfortable and light which makes for easier walking. Would recommend these shoes especially for people that have walking difficulties.
