I originally got this in case we traveled or had a vet trip, but then our guinea pig had unexpected babies (sister ended up being a brother 😬) and this was the perfect spot for momma to have her babies.

Bought for our Guinea pig when traveling. He has plenty of room to move around, locks in place on the sides, lifts open on top so easy to access. Theres even a divider for the hay, so works great! Love it.

We used this carrier to take our rabbit on a road trip in the car (11 hours each way). It was a great size for her (she is a small rabbit - about 3 pounds). And, since we could attach a water bottle to the cage, she was able to have water on the trip without needed to put a water bowl in the carrier (which would have spilled).

Fits 2 quails comfortably

Although it got squashed in transit it was still useable and was used to transport my hedgehog cross country- thankfully she didn’t get squashed.

This is an excellent sized cage for travelling/temporarily housing a small animal such as a guinea pig. I purchased it to use for my disabled guinea pig that needs to be hand fed when i travel or need to take him with me for the day. Its small enough that it is easy to carry and move around and still big enough for him if he needs to spend a night or two in it while away from home. It works perfectly for my needs. I did zip tie the top to the base only because i am carrying it around and was afraid the top might separate from the bottom while being carried.

This cage is great for travelling back and forth to the vet. It has an area to store hay for longer journeys. It is good quality and sturdy. I would never recommend anyone use it for an actual permanent home as it is way too small. Use a Midwest cage or make c&c cage for your guinea pig but buy this one if you want a secure travelling cage.
