So it's not a one-handed operation
Couple of things: the dimensions are shown, but it's pretty narrow in width, 6.5 inches. I have 4 inches of laptop hanging off either side. This make it a little unstable when you're tapping the outer keys and it wobbles a bit. The other thing is, it takes both hands to set it up. You can pick up your laptop and just slide it under. There's nothing to hold the legs in place once you fit them into the slots, so once you put it on your desk and adjust it the way you like, you can't pick it up with one hand and move it around. You have to hold both legs in position or it just folds up. I was trying to set it up with one hand while holding my laptop in the other. No can do.But it works fine for what I use it for - I have a separate monitor and keyboard for desk work that plug into the laptop off to the side, so the laptop can sit at the corner of the desk but still be accessible. And I can fold the stand up and take it with me when I'm on the road to give the laptop a little better angle for the keyboard. But it's not really sturdy enough for extended use. But sturdy I don't mean it will fall apart, but it's just a *tiny* bit wobbly.

Light, but quite totally what was expected
The pegs to hold it up are kinda light and need to have a 2 hands to work. If you move just right, it's a bad game of Jenga and whole thing tumbles down and you have to start all over - computer on board or not.And I had hoped it would be a bit taller. Bought 2 because I am in the whole process of virtual teaching (I have to use 2 computers to see everyone/thing when online with my class) and need something that can bring my computers up to stop from hunching over to type and see. The angle helps with the typing but the "see" isn't quite so helpful. I'm still hunching over - sore back and shoulders everyday with 9 hours of virtual classes a day. I'm hanging on to them because they aren't bad, but in the search of something more 'teacher-friendly."

Awesome laptop stand
I like to work from my table in my kitchen and this laptop stand worked great for what I needed it for it very sturdy and very light weight but heavy duty I now have my laptop up and I am able to use my laptop without my back hurting me after using it for a few mins highly recommended

Worked great until it started to BEND
I love the design and portability of this stand. It has started to bend in the last month and has continued to become more bent. Iβm sad that the quality hasnβt held up!

just what i needed to use my IPad keyboard from my lap desk
this took a little getting used to the angle adjustments. they are metal 2 pieces (one for each side)that go into different holes to adjust the angle. Trying to do one made the other come out, etc. Once adjusted to the angle I want it took a little thinking to keep it that way when I was finished so I wouldn't have to do it all again late. All this said, I am very happy with it and it does set my IPad keyboard at a more convenient and usable angle.

my 15.6in hp envy felt sturdy using this
screws instead of pins would make this more solid. (i may do that mod on my own)wish is opened up wider, but my 15.6in laptop felt sturdy on it so i cant complain. i pianoed my whole keyboard back and forth a couple times and was satisfied it wouldnt fall over.love how small it folds up and that it came with a pouchi may drill more holes into the feet to get more angle....but that may be unnecessary. i dont want my devices to fall overi didnt want to tape folding feet to my laptopi am a weirdo and i like folding stands. i like them cheap and sturdy. lightweight would be a bonus but you have to give to get.

I recommend it to non-absentminded users
Works as expected. I use it all the time. Pics and description match. Great for the on the go person who values ergonomics. The product would get 5 stars if support arms latched or snapped in place. A note for the next iteration to make it user proof. If a user does not make sure the adjustable support arms are secure in the base an accident could occur. π

Sturdy, efficient, effective laptop stand
I bought this product in lieu of the iVolver aluminum stand my roommate purchased. They are the exact same product, down to the drawstring bag they come in. This stand is solid, yet lightweight. It feels flimsy but securely holds my 14inch laptop. I also tried the stand with a Microsoft Surface Book. I was concerned the top heavy screen would cause the stand to topple but it was secure and stable.I use the stand with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, my neck feels so much better! The only downside is I have trouble closing the lid of my laptop when it is on the stand. My lenovo x1 carbon has a lip that extends further than the base, this should not affect most laptops.

Portable and sturdy
Great item. Perfect for travel - folds down neatly into a little pouch that can be stored in your laptop bag. Have only used it for two days but so far it seems sturdy enough for my MacBook. Delivery was very fast - received within 2 days of ordering.
