Woodenknife Indian Fry Bread Mix, 1.5 Pounds

I wanted to try a fry bread mix that I could make in small batches before making my own. This is so easy to use and works great for fry bread. I've also used it for making pitas and it's wonderful for that too. I found two things that seem to make it better. I use warm water to mix it and I let the dough sit a while before making them. Good flavor and texture. Highly recommend!

I love the smell of this frybread as it's cooking.... Woodenknife Indian Fry Bread Mix is easy to make, all it takes is the mix, some water, and some oil to fry them in. The fry bread tastes great and the recipe on the back is really good, too. They have a great flavor and texture and the mix arrived fresh. It's a good value as one box makes a lot of fry bread. It goes with almost any meal and can be enjoyed alone as well. Two thumbs up!

After buying this fry bread mix in South Dakota over 15 years ago, I have become a repeat buyer and was very happy to find it on Amazon. Easy to use and makes fantastic tacos! It's also good with honey or cinnamon sugar and is great alone. Guaranteed to disappear quickly in your home.

Easy to follow instructions. Although I made 4, 6 in. Diameter frybread pieces and there is enough for 4 more. It would probably be better to use this as a learning tool, and it is easy to make. Just not enough for larger groups. For larger groups use similar scratch recipes. The photo is one of 4 frybread tacos that I made. The mix has enough for 4 more. Very easy for beginners.

I love this product! Got really good flavor, texture is spot on and very similar to what I would eat at pow wows.There's 2 reasons why I gave it 4/5 instead of 5/5 stars:1: I felt 1/2 cup seems a bit much-the dough comes out too sticky2: it needs salt.The quality of this frybread mix is so good that the 2 issues I have are such a minor thing that they're not a big enough for me to leave a bad review. Just use less water or add a bit more mix. Also, just use a dash of salt and you're good.

Bought some while traveling and was so happy to find it on Amazon so I can continue to make my powdered doughnuts! Yummy and so easy to use. People make also Fry bread tacos with this. We had the tacos while traveling and I could make them oe just use as a thin bread to go with supper but we Love the doughnuts so much that this what I make! Just use a little oil 1/2” in the bottom of a little fry pan and flip as they get light golden brown. It takes but just a couple minutes then I shake them in a brown paper bag that I put powdered sugar in and eat them! I’ve tried cinnamon sugar but the powdered sugar ones are our favorite! Enjoy!

Adjust the water as needed. Did need to add flour to get 12 from each box. Good product.

We love Indian Fry Bread. The meat recipe on the box is easy and delicious.
