Chef Quality Precision
The absolute best high quality butcher for cutting meats with a single hand if your not a chef by occupation and rather avoid any accidents. Precision slices with no effort and a very thick blade, the comfort of the length/weight is all perfect. It looks like an ancient family heirloom.*Tip* I put butcher food grade mineral oil & wax on it every time and wipe off the excess, it's in pristine condition, no blemishes or defects after each use.

Excellent knife for the value. Sheath is low quality leather but the blade is sharp
A lot better made than I thought it would be. The sheath isn't great but I didn't buy it for that. Handle is well made and it is well balanced. Pretty serious hunk of steel. Came with a very sharp edge nearing razor sharp. It has really excellent weight. It's not a $250 knife but it's definitely worth the money.

Sharp Knife but not rust proof.
Got this knife as a Christmas gift for my partner. Overall great knife. Extremely sharp. Beautiful design of blade and leather shield. My girlfriend was fangirling over how easily it cut the first layer of her skin when she was just admiring the blade. It’s hands down our go-to knife for all our cooking needs. I noticed at first the black coloring was rubbing off the blade but that’s not a problem. However, no matter how much diligence, love, &care we have for the knife, it still somehow got rust spots on it. We always dried it off because that’s how much we love it. It must’ve gotten a couple drops on it one time and the next time we used it there was signs of rust on it. The advertisement says “exclusive anti rust process polished whole blade” but I feel this is false advertising due to how quickly rust happened- to a blade we really tried hard to take care of to avoid such an outcome. In the end, still a really great knife. Just have to look at a way to rid the rust spots.

This was a surprising hit!
When it comes to knives on Amazon it's a hit or miss an this one worked out great. It's holding an edge very well and I am very surprised for the price. When it comes to washing the carbon steel knife you have to dry it right afterwords or it will rust, it's carbon steel. It's only been four months but so far it's holding up well, hard to beat a knife at this price that actually cuts when you need it to.

Great camping knife
So I really like this knife. I like it so much that I’ve convinced several people to buy one and I’ve also bought 5 or 6 for people for Christmas gifts. It is sharp and it is a little heavy. It works well as a medium duty cleaver, great for dicing meat. It has a slightly round and reasonably sharp edge to it which makes it good for slicing vegetables. I use this knife mostly when camping. I have other knives but I mostly use this one as a do all knife. You only have to clean one knife that way.The leather sleeve is a nice touch. The quality is decent. Sure you can get nicer quality knives but I don’t think you’ll find a better deal at this price point. Some people have had rust issues? I haven’t experienced any rusting. I do hand wash with soap and hand dry it before I put it away. I oiled it once but I don’t think it’s necessary if you keep it dry. I’ll buy an extra one around just in case I need a cheap guys gift. I’ve yet to find a man that doesn’t like this knife.

High Quality Carbon Steel (will Rust)
I am a traditionally trained French chef and hold a Bachelors in Molecular Gastronomy. I see massively conflicting reviews on this knife. I have had it for quite a few months now. It is evident that a carbon steel blank was heated and forged into this knife followed by some grinding. Mine was straight and not curved like some of the pictures and the edge was decent right out of the package. After some sharpening and honing so that it was tailored to my liking (not necessary fresh out of the package, but I’m particular about the edge my knife has for daily use) being that it is carbon steel, it holds the edge very well, and even after some on purpose abuse on chicken, pork, and beef bones it has not chipped or broken. I must say that it is a high quality knife, it is heavy, and some may not like this, but I like a knife with some weight, and the full tang balanced blade is perfect for my likes. With all of that said I liked it so much that I’m back on here buying 2 more, one for my spare bag and one to give away as a gift for a chef friend of mine who quite liked this beauty (looks like the one from the YouTube channel where the man cooks out in the forest Almazan). It is carbon steel, and just like one of my $500 knives this $30 work horse will rust if it is not dried thoroughly and immediately after washing and use. A light coat of grape seed oil is rubbed on the blade and handle then is wiped off completely before it is stored away. Some people say oil goes rancid, but when you use it and wash it as often as I do, that is definitely not a worry. So far I’m please, yes it is more work to care for a carbon steel knife, but I never imagined such a well priced knife to be such a good quality item. If they steal or I break a $500 Shun in my bag I would be severely upset. If I break my Enoking, I would be back on here and get another and say it was the best $30 I’ve spent on a cheap knife that was of surprisingly good quality.
