I have been looking for a good peeler that would last. We are a meat and vegetable family. This peeler has saved me a lot of time in the kitchen doing prep work. I have never owned a Julienne Peeler so I googled it and watched some video's on how to use the Stainless Steel Julieene Peeler since it really didn't come with any instructions. If you have never used one before I would highly recommend watching some of the video's. The Simple Chef peeler is better than any peeler I have owned. The blade is very sharp and sturdy. The blades makes quick work of peeling potatoes or any vegetable. The Simple Chef Stainless Steel Julienne Peeler has two sides. One side is for peeling and the other side is julienne. The julienne side is awesome for making zucchini "noodles" or shredded carrots for salads. I love that I can also add some pretty garnishes to the dishes. The peeler side is easier than trying to make thin slices with a knife or grating with a cheese grater. The peeler is definitely a step above most standard peelers. The peeler is made of 100% stainless steel. The peeler is dishwater safe although I just wash and rinsed mine off then dried. There are so many products on the market to choose from. This thing is no ordinary peeler! First off its huge , but perfect size for ones hand, small or large! Its nice and shiny too! When it comes to peeling this thing has TWO sides to peel which caught me off guard. I used it to peel an orange and it went through smooth as butter. It feels durable and good quality and looks fancy which is always a plus! Within a minute my orange (which has tougher skin to peel then an apple) was peeled and ready to separate! My 7 year old even thought it looked cool and asked me if it was really expensive lol. Overall i am happy with it and cant wait to see how it peels all my other tasty fruits and veggies! i attached some photos to get a better idea :) sorry for the orange peel mess, it just shows how awesome this thing is!
