My 7 & 12 yr old love this ball. Super for teaching young ones setting and passing. Texture is soft , but not slick or slippery and does not slap and sting the forearms when passing.

I had a unique need when looking for a ball. I am playing a version of volleyball with 1st and 2nd grade girls that allows the ball to bounce once before it is hit. I was looking for a ball that was larger than a regular ball, yet able to bounce high enough on grass to hit after the bounce. This ball works perfect. I like that it is light and soft so the girls aren't afraid of getting hurt by the ball. The bright colors make it easy to see. I have used it for a few weeks now on grass and haven't had any problems. It says it is in indoor ball so I don't know how long it will last outside. Since I have't had it long, I can't give an accurate review on its durability. It seems sturdier than a Big Soft ball I purchased years agi from Tachikara that is no longer available. Overall I am currently very pleased with the ball.

We love this ball, it's a little bigger and perfect for toddlers kicking around and practicing throwing and catching. It's soft enough that it doesn't hurt when it hits you.
