Good flaring tool, bad brake line and fittings
The flaring tool and the cutter get 5 stars, the brake line and the fittings get 1 start (4 altogether as I weigh the faring tool higher).Not much to add: had to r-run the brake lines for my 2006 Subaru Legacy. The flaring tool has done the job but on the alternative brake line, have not used the one that came with the kit - it was very stiff and, as many reviewers have mentioned, not the actual cooper line but cooper plated, so it was going to rust quickly almost certainly. Also the material the fittings are made is not sturdy, managed to break (literally, into pieces) one of the connectors.

Great value and easy to bend without special tools. Used to make long runs of vent line to transmission and vacuum line to quadratrac transfer case. I have not used for brake lines but I will be ordering more to have on hand for future use.
