I ordered 2 of these after trying a few others when I first got my ferrets. Recently they started leaking because I have had them for so long, (3 years they lasted being cleaned daily). I attempted to get some temporary replacements and simply wasn’t happy with any of them. I ordered 2 more of these and now they were available in blue and pink which matched the 2 tiers of their cage! They are now larger than the first time I purchased them and the same amazing quality but I paid the same amount I did the first time. I highly recommend these to anyone with small animals! My ferrets love them, I couldn’t even get a photo without them in it because two of them wouldn’t leave it alone lol. I also want to add, they never leak unless there’s no backward pressure in the bottles. So I squeeze the bottle a little once the lid is closed with a paper towel at the nozzle (without putting any pressure on the ball) and release. No leaking!! I had no issues with them leaking until 3 years after initial purchase and that’s simply the gasket wearing down over time.

11/3/2022 *UPDATE*The bottle is working better than the first one, but it does have a slow leak so I have to fill it more than normal and clean up a mess. 🤷‍♀️****UPDATE****The company reached out to me and sent a replacement. So far it has worked as it should without leaking/draining. Excellent customer service! Thank you!!When I first set it up, no water would come out and my guinea pig flipped his lid (as he does because he's spoiled). I took off the bottom nozzle and saw one of the balls was stuck so I tapped it loose and it started working= happy piggy! NOW I try to refill it and it just drains all the water out. Anyone help me fix this or I need to return it.

ETA / last one bit the dust today. Poor girls’ cage was soaked.At the opening for the animals are two small balls and a black rubber gasket to allow the animal to drink without getting soaked. Well, I bought three of these in August of 2023 within a few months the first one started leaking and now my second of the three has the same issue. There is no way to effectively push the tiny gasket into the tube and align it against the opening (and it must be perfect or it will waterboard your animal!) and I have TRIED FOR WEEKS. I am giving up and suggest you do not purchase this unless you are very handy with tiny objects or have amazing luck that the gasket won’t ever move. Otherwise it works well. Holds a large volume of water, is easy to fill and install, but until they fix the gasket it’s likely to break.

Works perfectly. Took me a couple minutes to figure it out , it leaked a lot at first but I re adjusted the black rubber thing , pushed it all the way in and I saw another comment about squeezing it to create a seal or whatever. I also did that. No leak anymore. It allows water to come out I checked. My boys get all the water they need. I believe other people got a faulty product and that’s a shame. But I was nervous at first but I’m glad I bought it. I needed one that was outside the cage and the top opens to fill it was genius. I will re edit this if anything. So far so great because this is the best water bottle so far I’ve found. Give it a chance don’t be dumb.

We don’t hate the water bottle but we don’t love it. It’s incredibly well built an and easy to fill. Attaching to the cage is also simple. Unfortunately, its ability to be leakproof is similar to most water bottles. We have to make sure that the balls in the tube are angled downward as much as possible when mounting the bottle as with any bottle. Once that is done correctly there is no issue. If not, there is no difference between this bottle and others. We’re definitely going to keep it because if the ease of filling thought. That’s definitely a plus.

I've purchased at least 5 different dispensers in two years and this one has been the most effective so far. While it's not completely leak proof, with a little cleaning and adjusting it, it goes back to being leak proof. I still don't know what causes it to leak from time to time, but when it does, my daughter takes it off the guinea pig habitat and cleans it up, messes around with the beads and it works again. Overall, it's a good purchase.

Only lasts about a month. I’ve purchased 2 of these hoping that maybe first purchase was a lemon. Even with keeping it clean the little ball ends up not retaining water and leaks constantly, and by constantly I mean 16oz of water leaks out over night. This is however the easiest to fill (which is a good thing cause you’ll be doing it twice a day) and most secure water bottle I’ve used, so I gave it an extra star.

The good:Easy to mount on cage. Easy to fill with water (no removal necessary - just open the top and pour in water as needed). High capacity. Relatively "leak proof" when the pigs are not drinking, although it takes a little work - fill with water, depress the ball at the end of the tube several times to let gravity pull out water; after that, it is relatively leak free.The not so good:When the pigs are really thirsty after munching on Timmy hay, and they push the ball in to get water, water tends to FLOW out rapidly, soaking the pigs, the bedding and the hutch. I've played around with it to try to find a solution, but haven't come up with one. I've cleaned the tube thoroughly, tried only filling the bottle partially, fully and everything in between. Nada. This doesn't happen all the time, only when the pigs are hitting the water bottle frequently. It seems like the ball gets stuck in an "on" position, allowing water to flow and soak everything. Perhaps I got the lemon, otherwise, I really like this bottle.

I bought this for my 4 Guniea pigs, they go through water pretty quick so after finding this big bottle for them I immediately purchased. I did read the reviews before buying and noticed some people have some problems with there’s, I think that it could have been a manufacturing mistake or an error with the way it was used by that person, I have never had a problem with it, I have had mine for months now and it works amazing, easy to fill, and does not leak. Overall amazing and I am very happy with it :) If you are worried about ordering one, when it arrives test it first with your finger to make sure water comes out no problem. Je le trouve pratique pour la cage de mes furets par contre je trouve un peut difficile à installer mais pour la cage de cochon d'inde est plus préférable
