Comfy Living 4ft6 (135cm) Double Wooden Futon with GLADE GREEN Mattress

It only took 10 minutes to put together and really comfortable. Not sure why others say it isn’t.Only advice I would suggest is that buyers are aware the mattress comes seperatley so may not get on exact same day, although mine came the day after.

Good looking and lovely colour. A little thin cushioning-wise so when seated you can feel the wooden slats a little in your butt making it a bit uncomfortable

I recieved this item in January after multiple difficulties arranging delivery. I dont know the exact cause of the problem, but it seemed to stem from poor communication of delivery details and contact numbers between Comfy Living and the courier complany. You email comfy living with your delivery details and they then pass this on to the courier - afer a while a recieved the couriers direct contact details and found that this was the best way to arrange delivery. Although even having done this there were a few problems with couriers exchanging the item between their routes and not exchanging the contact details properly.When I recieved the item there were bolts/screws missing and one of the feet was cracked. The box in which the futon base comes it not very well secured and the bolts and screws inside are loose so that they easily fall out in transit. The build quality of the futon base is not very high quality. The pine from which it is made is untreated and had multiple splintered areas at the ends of the beams and on the sides. However given the price of the item I had thought that this was perhaps understandable. I emailed the complany and asked that replacement feet and screws/bolts were provided and this was done very rapidly.The futon mattress appears thick and is of reasonable quality and is comfortable on which to sit or lie.The futon had had approximately 2 months of intermittent use when a supporting beam completely shattered and as a result two of the other slats which support the mattress broke off. At this stage having experienced two faults I requested a refund, but was informed that as this was outside the 30 day period as stated in their terms and conditions (not shown on amazon - see their website [...])I was relluctant to accept a refund as this was the second fault the item had developed and I was unsure the build quality was actually 'fit for purpose.' Again I was told that a refund could not be provided, but that within the 1 year warranty I would be entitled to recieve a replacement base. I am happy to do this provided that the base recieved will be guaranteed from receipt onwards for a further year to ensure that I am not left with a faulty item again and no recourse. To date I have been told that they will only honour the gurantee on a new base from a year from the original receipt date. I am waiting to hear back from a manager as to whether they might compromise at my request - I do not quite understand why they would not expect a competely new item to have the same longevity as previously.I would not buy this item again or recommend the company to others. I know there is the old adage you get what you pay for, but I would expect an item such as this to last longer than 2 months. The other reviews seem to be glowing so perhaps I was just unlucky to have recieved a bad base and I hope that my complaint can be resolved amicably with the company.

This is exactly what we wanted- a comfy futon which we could use as a sofa in the spare room and use as a bed for the occasional guest. We have had 4 people using it so far and each person have commented on how comfy it is. Would recommend and buy again.

This is the single worst thing I have ever bought. And I don't know what to do because I have a guest coming next week.I am so sorry to right a negative review but I am so sad.Firstly, the mattress and the frame smell horrible and are out gassing chemical stink.The fame was easy to put together. It is cheap but fine.The mattress is a has a terrible sateen finish to the fabric that makes it look like something from a cheap bordello. It is probably three inches thick and I can't get it to fold like the picture.

Delivery was ok, though we ordered two, and one of them came torn so a new one had to be sent out. Communication with the company was fine with no problems at all.The product is easy to put together and looks nice. My quible with it is that the matresses after a few months are completely flat, even when turned and dont sit properly on the frame. They either slide down and fall off the seat or the backrest flops over, Matress could definatley have been better quality.

On the base of the futon, left hand side strut, there was a knot in the wood. As soon as someone sat on it, it broke. I have complained and no one has contacted me back. It was important for me to use the futon, my sons have just come from two years in South Korea and needed to Isolate. So i repaired a brand new futon, i am not happy with either the product or the service afterwards.

The mattress itself has already compacted into depressions where we've sat on it it's ok for occasional use as a bed.
