Worked well for my handle projects
I really regret not buying one of these sooner, like before I installed all the handles in my kitchen with measuring individually, but once I started refinishing furniture, it really became and need and I love it. Works perfectly. Takes me 5-10 minutes to get first handle measurements, but then 10 seconds for the rest. Worth it!

Very helpful when installing cabinet hardware
The media could not be loaded. Installing cabinet hardware can be scary and intimidating. You certainly don't want to mess up your expensive cabinets by drilling your holes in the wrong place or unlevel. This jig worked amazingly in helping me install several different sizes and types of hardware. It's very easy to use and set up and takes the guesswork out of where to place your holes for your hardware. One thing that I would recommend, is using a laser level with this jig, especially if you are installing multiple drawer pulls in a row. By using the level, it will save you time having to measure each drawer to find the center. You've already done it for the proceeding drawer so just line your level up with the holes on the first drawer, place your jig on the 2nd drawer and then make your marks for your holes.

Will definitely help you when installing handles.
The only reason that I gave this a 4 was that when I purchased it the price was much higher. It has come down under $10 currently which is a steal for the way this will hep you and save time. If you're drilling these holes by hand, stop! and get this. It only takes n 1/8" off and next thing you know your handle doesn't line up straight or the holes won't line up at all. This is so much worth the time and aggravation to do it correctly the first time.

Excellent guide for the money
This gadget is good for getting you into the ballpark for drilling consistent cabinet handle holes, but it has its limitations. Check and double check before you drill! I got a job installing 40 cabinet handles, so rather than 'wing it' with just my tape measure, I went looking for a jig. When I found this one for $10, I figured it was worth a shot. My first knobs were single pulls (one screw) on doors above the stove. First hole was perfect, but when I flipped the jig around, using the same guide on the other door, the second hole was 1/8" higher. I chalked it up to user error, but it (almost) happened again on the next set, so I started using the jig to mark my holes with a punch, then double-checking where I should drill with my level and tape. All went fine after that. One of the challenges with the jig is the plastic likes to slide on the finished cabinet surfaces. Some rubber on the contact surfaces might make it easier to hold in place when drilling. Use it to mark your holes with an awl, punch, or even your drill bit (gently!), then measure your marks for accuracy before drilling. Bottom line is, for the money, this gadget will get you close enough to your spot that you can install handles accurately and consistently WiTH CARE. Markings on the rulers are precise enough, and the notches for centering and aligning are in the right place. Great for a one-off job, or to get used to placing knobs and handles with a little help. Have patience, and this jig will work just fine.

Nice features but supplier should improve straightness of main alignment edge
Works fairly well for marking/drilling cabinet handle holes. I found it was easy to be off by 1/16" if I wasn't really careful and consistant in the setup and in how I held it and even how I held the pencil to mark the holes before I drilled them (I prefer marking hole locations 1st so I can double check them visually and/or with a ruler before drilling). The "T-square" alignment edge is slightly convex but I was able to flip it over to the "concave" side which should help keep it from rocking on the edge of the door. The set screws tend to move the sliding parts when tightening so it may take a few trys to get it where you want it. Overall, a nice alternative to the wooden jigs I usually make. If the supplier can get the T-square straight, it would deserve one more star.

why did i just eyeball it before??
this tool is great. the ruler on it makes it easy to figure out where to put the part with the hole in it. i made 7 perfect holes in my wall cabinets. i cannot believe i used to do this by eyeball. now all my door handles look exactly lined up and so professional.

Great for people who don't want to measure 100 times
This tool was a great way to install my cabinet handles with ease and assurance knowing that the holes are the correct distance for the handles. It eliminated the need to measure multiple times for each and every handle, and allowed me to install all the handles in an entire kitchen within one hour. All you need to do is measure once for each type of door you have, and then you can simply flip it for adjacent doors. The tool is a little bit difficult to use if you have cabinets which have rounded/beveled edges, as it relies on a straight edge to align it to the edge of the door. As such, a few of my handles are ever so slightly tilted, and not parallel with the door edge. This may not apply to everyone as the popular shaker style of cabinet doors have 90 degree edges, so I think it would be ideal for those types of doors. Just beware if you have the older/more traditional style where the fronts of the doors have curved edges.
