This book has everything about Aalto's projects: good pictures, plans, models. I'm very happy with it. it's one of those books you don't want to stop reading or consulting. My only comment for future editions would be to include some color pictures of some buildings and the interiors to get the real sense of the materials and the light inside these spaces.

This set is a worthy investment for anyone seeking a thorough understanding and grasp of Aalto's work. Most of the photos published here are archival and although their quality reflects this, they give a clear understanding of architects intent and the execution of each project. These volumes also include a number wonderful sketches and archival architectural drawings. This is a reference that can be returned to again and again.
