Durable and high quality even two years later
I bought Power Guidance bands a couple years ago after reviewing many similar products. These sounded like high quality from a good manufacturer. Rounding back two years later, these were a great buy, well worth the money! I wanted them for some shoulder ROM work as well as for adding resistance to my push-up workouts. They worked great for those (and any other type of resistance band work). I (and my older teen) have used these 2-3x a week for the past two years and they've held up. I also take a couple with me when traveling for business or vacation - very convenient. I'd highly recommend. I was hoping to get two years of good use out of them but seems like they'll retain their resistance and durability much longer.

What are you waiting for?
I recently bought one of those power towers, you know, the apparatus that allows one to do pull-ups and dips. ( https://www.amazon.com/Weider-WEBE99712-Power-Tower/dp/B0098MAYNY/ref=cm_cr-mr-img )As a younger man in my 20s & 30s, I had no problem cranking out set after set of 14-15 reps of chin-ups, pull-ups, and dips. Fast forward about 20 years, and I'm now in my mid-50s, and not only has my strength decreased, but my weight has gone up about 40 lbs (255). I'm embarrassed to admit I can't complete one full-range, unassisted pull-up or dip. I can do about 5-6 half-reps, but that's about it. So I took a chance on one of these bands (the green one), and hoped they would support my weight and do what they claimed.Damn glad I did! At first, it was a bit awkward getting my foot or knee into the band, but that quickly became easier. My first workout with this band, I was able to complete NINE full reps of pull-ups, and TEN full reps of dips, and got a great pump! It felt like I'd found the fountain of youth! LOLAs of this writing, I have used them for six workouts so far, and my reps have increased by a couple and I'm now getting even more out of each exercise. Eventually I may purchase another band as my strength level increases. But for now, this $22 investment is well worth every penny. Highly recommended!EDIT: Since then, my reps have increased to around 15 each for both chins & dips, so I also recently purchased the purple one. This one provides less resistance than the green one, so it's akin to upping the weight on a barbell and progressing from there. Who knows...maybe someday I'll become strong enough to get an even lower-resistance band! Love this product!

Looks Can Be Deceiving: Weights That Just Don't Measure Up
I was excited to try the POWER GUIDANCE Pull Up Assist Bands, expecting a major boost in my workout routine. However, I quickly realized the resistance levels didn't match what's advertised. The bands, while durable and visually appealing, fell short in providing the expected resistance. It's a letdown, especially if you're relying on them for consistent strength training. They're fine for basic stretching, but for powerlifting or intense resistance training, they just don't deliver the power promised. A real mismatch between expectations and reality.

Works great!
Used this to add resistance to my son’s agility ladder training. Definitely kicks his butt and kicks his training up a notch!

The bands are great. I haven't tested them out under heavy stress ...
The bands are great. I haven't tested them out under heavy stress but so far they have worked well for me. The reason for knocking off a star is not for the products itself but rather for Amazon's customer service. I had purchased the bands during the black friday weekend while they were running promos however the promo code to get $10 off of buying 3 or more products from PowerGuidance did not apply at checkout. After consulting Amazon through live chat they informed me that the discount would be applied within a few days and that I would receive an email from their promotions department. No word back since.Honestly, the bands are fantastic even though Amazon has failed at resolving my problem and I'd recommend it to anyone. If there is a promo code absolutely make sure that it was successfully deducted from the total otherwise good luck getting that discount as Amazon customer service has been on a downhill trend this past year.

Super helpful with pull ups!
Was afraid these would snap but have been using them for two weeks now and they're great fro stretching and I use the green one to help with assisted pull ups and they work super great.

Giant rubberbands! Solid, but mine was used.... (edit: which wasn't a problem because they have great customer service!)
Ordered a blue band, the strongest, and it is indeed very strong. Some workout bands are very thin and stretchy and I want to point out these are not at all like those (I don't like those much, they snap). Think of a rubber band scaled up and that's these - the thickness is comparable to how thick a rubberband is for its size, so how it stretches is very similar also. The down side to that is that it gets exponentially harder to stretch this as you go, so I'd say about 1ft - 2ft is about all the stretch you'll get out of this before it just becomes almost solid feeling. Limits what you can do with it as far as standing exercises go, and if you're tall you might find it hard to use for pull-ups.Overall I'd give it 4-5 stars for being exactly what it advertises, HOWEVER the one I received appears to have been used significantly before it was sent to me! See the picture - there were obvious wear marks where someone had stood on the band and used it even though it was "new". So I took off a few stars, debating if it's worth the trouble to return it for a new one. My only worry is really that the previous user did something that would weaken the band in the long-term.EDIT 07-20-17: Just a quick update, the company contacted me via email and sent a new replacement directly, no need to go through Amazon returns. They didn't even ask me to send back the first band and sent an extra one! Looks like they really hold themselves up to that 100% Satisfaction guarantee! I've often had good service on Amazon but the extremely prompt e-mail replies and quick shipping reminds me of the early days of Amazon! Highly recommend. (My customer service rep was Andrew H., thanks Andrew!)

Best quality stretch band out there!
I've bought them all and Power Guidance is by far the best quality stretch band available. Buy with confidence that you're getting a product that will hold up for the long run.

Well made and great value
These straps are great! Originally bought them for use with a pull-up bar, but they’re incredibly versatile and now using them for a whole range of isolation exercises as well. Quality is excellent and easy to combine to get a whole range of assistance and/or resistance. Never thought I needed them before and now they’re some of my favourite equipment to use. Strongly recommended.

Very well priced.
Another good quality item, junior athletes have tried breaking them and all are still intact.
