VianaMild Jumbos Snacks, 1.76 Ounce (Pack of 12)

We bought these to use on a backpacking trip which included a vegetarian. The flavor is good: spicy like sausage but not over-poweringly hot. The texture (a big thing for me) is much less sausage-like; they are kind of mushy/moist, don't have the drier "chew" of meat-based sausage. But they are a great alternative to sweet gorp-type mixes while on the trail. I would buy these again.

These are so convenient and delicious. Addicting. I love that they have 13 grams of protein, 10% DV iron, and 4% DV calcium as well, so it's a very nutritious snack. Only thing I think could be worked on is the packaging - I have to use scissors to open it. So if you're bringing it on a hike or something you might want to bring a little Swiss army knife with you. Oh, and do not open this on top of a white blanket like I made the mistake of doing (luckily it came right out with some dish soap). The juice leaks out when you first open it, so be careful. Other than that it's perfect.

I stock up on these mainly for traveling and weekend outings on hikes and at the beach, but often find myself grabbing for one for a midnight craving. As a vegan for ethical reasons, I try to encourage and share delicious snacks and meals, and this is one snack I'm proud to share and not worry about being criticized for sacrificing taste for being vegan.Even though it does seem a little pricey here, I can guarantee that if my local health food store sold these, it would be at least twice as much, so I'm grateful I can get these here on Amazon at this cost.

Super yummy but then realized they were past best but date when purchased 🤢Very hard to open, definitely need scissors. But handy little snack for sure! I bought 2 packs, amazon refunded one but not the other 🤷‍♀️🙄

I *LOVE* these sausages, but my last order (2 dozen) arrived with both boxes showing an expiration date of 7/7/20. The arrived on 7/5/20. Now like I said, I love 'em, but don't think I can eat 24 of them in 2 days! :-)

Nearly perfect. Very satisfying. You can throw it in your briefcase, backpack, purse, gym bag, etc. and always have a vegan protein source available. Nice for a quick breakfast as well. A solid change from the usual protein bars... Just be sure to have a napkin available since they are a little oily. They've bailed me out of a few situations where appointments unexpectedly ran long and I needed something fast to keep me going.

I bring these on trips and field work where I can't be sure I'll be able to find vegan food. This mild one is good, but a bit plain and salty - the spicy one is better. Definitely minus one star for being absolutely impossible to open without some sort of implement, which is not good for traveling. At least the spicy ones have little triangles cut in top for ripping open. What gives, Viana?

Product box looks damaged and expiration date clearly a date in the past, even before the date i ordered the product!!!
