Swaive Intelligent Ear Thermometer Baby Thermometer with App for Tracking

We just had a baby a month ago. While being in the hospital, the baby got dehydrated as he wasn't drinking enough milk. We got scared as his temperature went up, so we decided that we need to get a Thermometer right after we go home. After doing some research, I found out that using the ear it gives the most accurate value (except for rectal). I saw that this product is also able to connect to an iPhone keeping a history of the baby's temperature and it can also work independent, so YOU DON'T NEED AN iPhone AND YOU CAN STILL USE IT!!!Is very important to read the manual about how to position Swaive in the ear, because otherwise you may read a much lower temperature than expected. I had this issue myself, and once I positioned it correctly, the temperature measured from the baby was in the expected range. The manual also has a table of the average temperature a person should have during certain ages, simple but very useful information. Luckily, the baby didn't had fever anymore, but we are monitoring him at every other day. I found this a very good product, easy to use, and able to measure the temperature in just 3 seconds.

Very cool appearance, both on the thermometer display and inside the software on the iPhone. You can also see graphs in the iPhone. Very easy to set up and use. You can switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit as you please.Seems a good idea if you have to monitor somebody's body temperature and/or if you need to write down many babies' temperatures. With this thermometer, everything is automatically uploaded in the iPhone (or iPad) and you don't need to write down anything. Even for adults, as it is in my case, it seems a much more stylish, robust, and safer solution than classic thermometers.I am thinking that it's an original Christmas gift for women with young children. Given appearance and performance, the price is pretty good.

I purchased this thermometer during a promo and am extremely impressed with it. I thought that it might be difficult to connect and use but it was extremely easy. In addition to being a very useful device that allows me to take and chart temperature trends, I love the fact that my 7 year old daughter is using it as a learning tool to take readings and look at them graphically! I think the addition of local Sickweather scores on the latest version of the App is really cool, if only to tell me that it's time to buy more hand sanitizer for my family!

The beep feature makes me concerned it will cause a hearing loss over time. You should be able to turn that off. Instead there is a loud beep when it is placed in the ear and again when temp is ready to be read.

Excellent product, love the design and material finish.App for iphone was easy to set up and use.Now we can track for entire family.Highly reccomended.

Not certain about it's accuracy and does not connect to my iPhone like it's suppose to. Great concept still needs some upgrades to offer consistency and accuracy.

Couldn't get accurate, trustworthy readings that were repeatable on this thermometer and returned it.

All ok!! Recomended 100%!!
