Installed an 8in memory foam mattress -60lbs- in my travel trailer, the old rods did not hold up to the much heavier mattress, ordered these, and poof, obviously had to reinforce the areas to hold more weight, and the lifts worked perfectly after the proper measure, did me perfect! Thanx yall hope this helps someone else.!

Nice metal elbows hold the spa cover up and no breaking thus far.

Very strong, one of these "67lb" gas struts seems to work as well as the original 2 x 60lb. Wish it used some sort of lock nut, I will have to secure it again with loctite so it doesn't inevitably rattle loose

Make sure to consider your lift needed! I first ordered the 100lb version but was way too powerful for my need, it worked but the torque would have caused damage overtime. I kept them and ordered 35lbs and they are powerful as well but suit my need. I did not return the 100 lbs version because I make so many things that I know I will take advantage of them!

The supplied mounting brackets bent the first time the struts were collapsed, had to buy steel angle iron and fabricate my own mounts to withstand the force needed to close the strut at the correct mounting positions. Struts themselves work fine.

So far so good. Used to lift a homemade toney cover.

These shocks was really easy to put in and I would have to recommend them to anyone that’s planned to ease the lift. However, please measure the distance from where you gonna install from top to bottom and get the right length

have had them installed on a outdoor garbage box lid (6 months) …work perfectly and my tiny wife no longer has issues struggling with lid..would definitely buy again

Le vérin , le matériel de fixation, tout est de bonne qualité.La mise en place relativement aisée même si la documentation est succinte.Et le vérin est très puissant, dans mon cas les deux soulèvent ( soulagent grandement... ) un plateau de coffre pas loin des 50 kilos...

Both brackets bent even after finding the correct angle for use now worried they may snap, was unable to contact seller on amazon to explain it, the struts themselves seem to work well but just let down by the brackets. Was going to ask seller if I could get replacement brackets but was unable to.
