Very Good Shelf For The Money!!
It was so easy to put together- the sides and two of the feet come as one whole piece, so it's very sturdy. It maybe takes about 5 steps in total to put together. The main thing to think about is that you will need to put this shelf on it's side to put it together- so make sure you have the room. The back holes are not pre-drilled - but everything else is- and was able to use the wood screws (the type that are pointy and made for going directly into wood) that they provided. Just make sure to line up the back before you start screwing in the back, and I recommend screwing in the middle holes first after lining it up with the top of the shelf back area. They also provided extra hardware! I'm using this shelf as a cabinet for my bathroom and it's doing very well! And it was packed very well too! Just to keep in mind though, this will be HEAVY. The box it came in had to be walked into my place with two people controlling it. The pieces can also be pretty heavy so be careful of if you can't pick up heavy things. As I said the side pieces are whole pieces of wood with two of the legs on each side. In total there are 8 pieces to put together. It did come with a wall anchor too- however I personally would buy a more heavy-duty one than provided given how heavy it is.

Real wood
I wanted a solid wood bookcase (plywood is ok in parts, so long as there's no particle board). This is it, and it looks very nice (first photo). The instructions are reasonably clear (I could have used a better diagram of how the tip-over prevention works, but I think I got it right). There were a few things that made me drop a star here and there, although my overall rating is still 5-star.The description says it's a 30" wide bookcase. That's true only if you count the molding around the top. The actual shelves are 24" wide. There's a few pieces of extra hardware, a nice touch. The non-removable shelf in the middle uses a funny kind of screw in the left and right panels, with a camlock in the middle shelf. I think the screw holes could have been a tad larger, as all of the screws broke off a little bit of the wood (second picture). The screws don't seem to go in exactly straight, but they're close enough and the assembly at that point is fine. The top and bottom shelves attach with ordinary screws (Allen wrench, not Phillips head!). The instructions say not to overtighten. I was hand tightening only, but a couple of the screws seemed to get easier to turn at the end--that's usually an indication that the screw has damaged the wood, either from being tightened to tight or because the wood is too soft.As others have mentioned, when you attach the back, there are screw holes in the back, but no screw holes in the side pieces. I used a 7/64" drill to drill all the holes, lest I split the wood. Drilled two diagonally opposite holes, put in those screws, then drilled the remaining holes. Be careful not to drill too far--the piece you're drilling into is not that thick, you can accidently drill all the way through it.Likewise when you drill a hole for the tip-over bracketOthers have mentioned the unsightly stickers. There's one on the right side piece, and this is the chief problem. The paper peeled off ok, but it left a gluey residue that I didn't succeed in completely removing. There are lots of stickers on the back, but they go on the side that faces the wall, so if they don't come off it's no big deal. (There are also small stickers on the side pieces pointing forward, but they're hidden by the shelves when you assemble it.)Others have also mentioned the Styrofoam. One piece had given its life protecting the wood, but that meant I had to remove statically charged tiny pieces of foam from the wood. The easiest way to get these off is to use tape (or the stickers).Delivery was a bit odd. It went out for delivery on a Friday, which usually means it's on the truck that goes by your house. But they didn't deliver that day, I had to wait until Monday. And boy is it heavy! I do wish it had come in two boxes, but I managed.I got this on sale, which differentiated it from all the other bookcases. If I could buy another one at that sale price, I would. But it's nice at any (reasonable) price.

Nice wood bookcase - be careful with color choice
This is a very nice, strong dry bookcase with a classic design. It was easy to assemble. When it arrives, that box is heavy! I was here to receive the delivery and had it dropped in the garage where I unpacked it and brought the pieces inside in small batches. My one caution is that the color as it appears on the website photos is not exactly the color. I ordered Russet Brown because the next lightest shade, Hickory, looked too light. In fact, the Russet Brown was too dark for my living room. Luckily, it worked well in the bedroom where I also needed a better bookcase. I’d like to see if the company can send color samples. It would be a hassle to return. If the color was more reliable, I’d give this five stars.

Such a beautiful wooden bookcase
I love wood. This is a beautiful sturdy piece with deep shelves and top molding. But best of all, it has 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 support posts at all 4 corners. This is a very good construction for longevity. There is a negative. The panels on this are thin. When moving furniture in room or to a new home, you want to use the upright posts and not press against the panels which can crack under stress. The back panel is the one you will need to protect. The support posts and side panels are constructed at factory as a single unit so they do a very good job supporting shelves full of books. Will be buying more bookshelves after painting room.

Great quality & price!
After retiring the big desk had to go. The desk is a perfect, stylish replacement. Since it had no lower drawer we also bought the storage cabinet. Both pieces were easy to install with 2 people. The wood finish is very nice and goos quality. Nice to have WOOD and not plastic made to look like wood!

A little quality control issue with no help from manufacturer
Seemed straightforward to assemble. Looks good until I noticed the left side was lacking stain and was splintered in the veneer on the upper top area. I was going to rate it a 5. Now a 4. A couple of chips came out of shelf veneers in assembly but they are out of sight. I contacted the manufacturer during registration of it and didn't ask for a new left side as I already had a lot of time and effort in the assembly but just stain or touch up to patch it so it isn't so noticeable. They said they don't do that but I could purchase some on my own. Now my rating is a three or 2. They also said Amazon would look at damage. I replied this isn't damage but poor quality control in the manufacture. We also had another bookcase in the cart at Amazon but held off on ordering until we got this one to determine the quality. Also, it was well packaged from Vietnam but the amount of styrofoam was excessive and the packaging and breaking up of it was a long messy chore. I have to go buy some stain now, which sucks. Amazon did give me some extra discount when I gave them the info and I am satisfied with their help in the matter.
