Nice lock box, appears as tough as it can be considering it's size & weight. I'm happy with it.
Nice lock box, appears well made and strong enough to serve my needs, if someone has the time and effort I'm sure they can break into it but it will definitely take some time and tools! I'm confident in it's construction, it tucks under the drivers seat of my SUV perfectly so it's out of site, the cable wraps around/secures to my seat frame. I like that the draw slides out, not at pop top, this make it way more convenient to access the contents of the box without having to completely remove it from under the seat, this is an important feature for me. The box is a good size, holds a good amount stuff, can fit two good size firearms positioned correctly (with the help of a small cloth to to keep them from rubbing on each other) Good for the car, house, vacation/hotel room etc, it's no fort knox but it will deter and more than likely stop some crook from taking what's yours! For what it is I'm happy and I'd recommend it... At the very least it a great smash & grab safe that will be tough to break open.

Perfect backpack security for a motorcycle
So I was thinking of a lock box that would be great for a waterproof backpack. I glad I came across the CLUB lock box. For the size and the materials it's made from is why I chose this box. So the way I use it is securing my backpack hiding the box inside. I placed a small round hole in the bottom of the bag for the cable and I run the cable through my motorcycle frame back into the backpack through the hole I made. Now it just looks like I have my backpack hanging on my motorcycle at work yet the bag can't leave and the box is weatherproof with its contents inside due to the waterproof bag. Works great so I have a way to secure my phone and wallet that I can't bring into the prison where I work and I can't secure safely enough in the backseat of the bike.

Great for the Price
This lock box is metal and comes with a security cable. It isn't super big but it is big enough to fit some valuables or a subcompact firearm. This box is far from foolproof and certainly should not be mistaken for a rock solid way to guard valuables or firearms for a lengthy period of time or in a rough neighborhood. It is mainly a deterrent from a smash and grab. The cable is relatively strong if you wrap it around something tough like the base of one of the seats, but a pair of bolt cutters will clip it right off. The safe itself could be pried open be a crowbar but again, this probably would not happen in a smash and grab.Basically, for the price, it is roughly the same as locking something in your glove compartment, maybe a little bit safer. Determined thieves can get into it so best not talk about what you leave in it. If you want something more secure for longer term storage of valuables or firearms in your vehicle, look for something more heavy duty like what law enforcement uses. If you are looking for a place to temporarily keep valuables or a firearm while you go inside a place where you can't or shouldn't bring those things, then this will work well for you and won't bust the piggy bank.

Good Box - more secure than your glovebox
I have both the Club LB200 Personal Vault Security Lock Box and the SentrySafe AS-1 Autosafe. This is one of those cases where I wish there was a product that incorporated the best of both as neither is perfect. This is a comparison of the two:Pros SentrySafe:The SentrySafe is the more sturdy of the two and the cable remains attached while it is opened. All security features are internal.Cons SentrySafe:The SentrySafe is taller and will not fit under the car seat. The SentrySafe has a narrow width and barely holds a 2-inch J-frame revolver. The cable is fairly short. I had to add a second cable to the SentrySafe to be able to move it to the front seat while still attached.Pros Club LB200:The Club LB200 is larger in width, shorter in height, seems to holds more, and will fit under the car seat. The cable on the Club LB200 is about 8 inches longer which is nice in a full size SUV when you reach over to the back seat to retrieve the box. Those 8 inches really make a difference.Cons Club LB200:The cable on the Club LB200 must be removed in order to open the box; however, I prefer the ability to easily detach the box and bring it into the front seat without the cable. The cable anchor is what the lock latches onto; meaning that there is an external part that can effect the security of the box if compromised.

Does What I Need and Holds What I Want To Keep Safe - Sort of
Update: October 26, 2014:I've had this lashed to the frame of the drivers side seat for the past year or so. I've used it to lock up valuables while away from the vehicle as well as weapons while driving. This seems to be a very sturdy box and I'm really glad I've got it.- - - - - -After several attempts to find something suitable, including purchase of a locking box with no combination offered, I decided on The Club.I found it a tad tight for my Springfield XD 9mm and both clips, but they do fit in there with scant room to spare. Since I bought this to carry this weapon while traveling, I have no concern of having other items in at the same time. Either the pistol will be there there or it won't. If it's not, then other valuables may take its place.I believe the supplied cable, when attached, will offer the protection I hope to have. The box seems to be well constructed.I'm happy with my purchase and at this point have no qualms recommending it to others with the caveat of I haven't yet attempted to install it in the vehicle in which I intend to travel in.
