Works very good with my derailleur and my bicycle.

First of all, this is a very good freewheel, simple, responsive, and functions just as it should. This is the 6-Speed MF-TZ30. It's a simple screw-on device but prepping with a good bicycle lubricant on the treads will make it easier to remove, using the proper tools; if servicing the bike requires it. Also, this unit doesn't require any add-ons, such that they would impede its' function on a tire; it is complete as is.Secondly, the customer service with this company is top-notch and very responsive to any concerns. I can attest to that fact when I had to contact them about it. For this product and this company, I can highly recommend both. Summary, this would be a good buy.

Makes hills so easy to go over. Makes for a great cargo/city bike.

34T first gear was too large to clear the standard length hanger arm on my rear derailleur. You need a longer mount arm on your derailleur to handle the low 1st gear diameter. My fault for not checking more closely.

This was a good replacement freewheel for my kid’s 24 inch trail bike. It was an easy install with the proper freewheel tool (also available from Amazon), and it runs smooth under power & during shifts.

Worked perfectly for my el cheapo mountain bike from wal mart. Now I can pedal up steep hills when hunting. Beyond pleased

Needed a longer chain and rear derailleur adjustment. But this allows these old knees to push this bike up the hills.Works great.

These are not Shimano, only the plastic guard, but they do the trick. Remember, safety first. Change your freewheel if it is acting up. This is indeed a good price. I have a vintage road bike and this is my best experience so far. My bicycle chain was wrapping around my freewheel and I went like that for months, after rebuilding mine 2 times to go back to the same. I have a chainring set of 52/42 and with 14/34 freewheel, the hills are a lot better than with a 28T maximum range. So far I have done a good 600km with it and it has been solid. The first thing I noticed was that the lubrication may be a bit heavy grade, but this has not been an issue at all. I know have a Frankestein bike, so, I make do. Originally, believe it or not, C-Record equiped, but who rides with 42/18 for the lowest gear anyway. Enjoy it and do not judge it. It is pretty great for the price, and 34T is not that easy to find, or 6speed for that matter.
