Tornado Heavy Equipment Parts Fits Caterpillar 7N0718 Battery Disconnect/Ignition Switch

I worked for a Caterpillar dealership and have to say these feel heavy duty, the work good and feel like they have good positive contacts, I will be putting two in our RV, one for the engine battery and one for the House batteries. I just wish the cable was cheaper, LOL but all in all the disconnects are exactly what I was looking for.

This is an excellent switch, extremely well made and heavy. I am using it on my John Deere 4010 farm tractor and it works great. Simply to install, although I chose to drill a hole in my dash panel for installation. Looks like it was made for it. You also need to drill a smaller hole beside the key hole for the turn stop feature (stud on front). Well worth the money.

this switch was used in a situation not normal and stopped working shortly after installation. Switch appeared well made so mechanic could have done something wrong.

Seems to be a good product that is very similar to an OEM Cat master switch. Switch operates crisply and cleanly. Should be a good product especially for the price.

I use this as a kill switch for my 86 chevy. It is very heavy duty and works just as expected. The power to the entire truck runs through this will no problems.

Used on a Cat 938G loader. Looks and functions just like the more expensive Cat switch.

I bhavent installed it yet but it should be just what I was looking for.
