Chop it, light it, bury it!
Why did I spend good money on this? I needed a compact shovel and handy axe for overlanding & camping in my truck. This fit the bill and more. Really, this is a nice, sturdy, well engineered piece of survival equipment and although not light weight its is compact. This is not a toy! The shovel is beefy and multi purpose. Will work as a back hoe as well as shovel. You can dig yourself into a proper hole or get out of one. (Person to help bury the body is not included) The axe is a heavy piece with a really sharp blade and the rear of it is a hammer. Whatever you do, don't be on the receiving end of this thing. The bonus is the knife, spear, fire starter, compass, phillips screw driver. It has a bunch of functional gadgets you hope you never need and if you do you're in over your head and should of invested in a satellite phone.I would love to review more of these products and I might even start my own channel.

Best survival tool yet!
This is incredible. It’s a strong metal multi tool tactical shovel. I’ve chopped with it, cut and carved wood, cut rope. The flint is a lil tricky to use but that might be because I don’t normally use flint n steep. The knife of this tactical shovel/ ax is a strong knife. I can cut paper and carve wood pretty easily. The serrated edge on the back is not sharp at all. It’s smooth and if you wanna use it you’ll need to sharpen it a bit. The blade itself, if you wanted to, you could sharpen it to really make it slice n dice, but if you need to use immediately then it’s ready for your cutting needs. The spear/ pike is strong and has quite a point on it. Not very sharp but first day I got and put all the tools to the test, I withstood me stabbing a wood block. The compass on the pommel is nice. Seems to wiggle out of its socket a lil whenever I chop wood or dig. It pops back in place pretty easy. The steel, I guess glass breaker, is durable. The shovel head is very strong and can cut wood surprisingly. The attachment to screw the shovel to the other parts of the tool takes a long moment to screw on but that’s for extra support I believe. I can dig and hit with the shovel and it doesn’t shake or anything. The ax is very sharp and I chopped wood with ease with it. I found it to strike the flint and spark easier than the knife. The ax head has a nice weight to it so it’s not a pain to carry around. There’s a screw drive bit that works too, but I don’t use it. Everything comes in a nice carrier case. The case is very durable as far as I can see. One thing I would recommend is to take some thread lock glue to prevent any tools like the knife from getting a lil loosed. Otherwise this is an amazing tool and price wise, I see it as worth it.

Looks to be a good solid set, but heavy!
UPDATE: Just got the full set in the mail. I have only taken this on a small trip since. And I will have to say that this is indeed heavy, even in my pack. This does not have the molle system, so it needs to be tossed in a large pocket of your bag or on your belt (not recommended). If you are car camping this is a good setup. I have not had a chance to use everything. But the shovel, hatchet and hammer (back of hatchet) do their jobs well.I still would not plan on taking this on any hikes (day or longer). This will stay at camp and I'll have to make due with other tools that are smaller and lighter for hikes. But this will be my go to for car camping and camp setup.Just got the set today and it seems to be made of a good quality material. Everything that locks or screws into place seems to fit nicely. One thing I did notice right away was that this set is HEAVY. I bought this for camping and day hikes, so we'll see how this feels in a small day pack or my larger hiking pack. The other, more pressing issue I have, is that I seem to be missing the actual extension pieces. Mine only came with 1 extra handle to screw onto the hatchet or shovel. The picture itself seems to show 5? Maybe 4 if the one on the shovel is already attached. But I will contact customer service about that. After we use this on our camping trips coming up I will report back with hopefully more stars to add!

Just in case
We got a few of these for the cars, RV, SxS, etc. to have just in case. The axe and shovel seem sturdy enough. The whole setup is a little heavier than i anticipated, but thats not a bad thing when it comes to something like this. I wish there were a few more extensions as Id like to use it as a treking pole with the knife or saw attachment. Overall we're happy with them.Update 8/30/24Have used this on several occasions when back country camping. The axe is awesome. You couldn’t split wood with it (too light) but it’s sharp and durable to drop saplings and get firewood. The shovel is solid and has been used several times to dig fire pits, etc. great tool and will be getting a few more.

Great for kids
From what I have seen so far its pretty sturdy I am not sure if it will last though only time will tell the threads are pretty sharp but other than that everything is heavy and feels nice in the hand great gift for a 12 year old exactly what I intended it to go to lol everything was included we like how the phillips/flathead bit sits inside the tube with a magnet basically stays hidden until you give it a nice good whack then it fits perfectly into its little spot I wouldn't test the bit out on something that requires a lot of tourqe as it seems slightly flimsy. The axe head is actually very nice very heavy with a thickness of 1/4 inch or so very sturdy I like the feel but it's more towards the tactical side instead of camping you will find use out of it but will put more effort into doing what you intend the knife I'd nice its not something you should go hitting everything with thought as it's also attacked by thread and could probably be broken off the spear head is nice but a little small other than that it's great and my little brother loves it

Average quality
Amazing idea, but quality is about average. Used it just once and it's already wobbly axe head, and holding stick tries to unscrew its sections while you use it.
