I use this daily, and it has a TON of room to store your laptop, books, files, etc.This is easily the best computer bag I've ever purchased. It's expandable and has pockets for nearly everything! It's got a place for smartphones, laptops, iPads or other tablets, and e-readers. I regularly fit my laptop, iPad, a textbook, and a stack of papers to grade in here, as well as my keys, thumb drives, pens, headphones, wallet, and other small items. On some days, I carry two laptops (and their chargers), as well as my iPad and some documents in it. This thing can handle big loads with ease.When you're not using it to carry a ton of stuff, the zippered expansion can be closed to make the bag have a small form-factor. It doesn't look like a big, empty, baggy piece of leather. I'm surprised to find a bag that looks so good both stuffed and nearly empty!The leather broke in within a week or two of use to give it a nice look. At first, of course, it was pretty much on solid color. But, with use, it's still pretty much the same color, but with a slight natural gradient. It looks great!Buying this on Amazon rather than at Office Max literally saved my over $100! I saw this bag in the store and used the Amazon Price Check app to see it was over $100 cheaper on Amazon! I didn't believe it at first, but after confirming multiple times, it's definitely the same bag. This is easily the best laptop bag I've ever owned, and I highly recommend it for those who need a bit more of a professional look (I'm looking at you, post-college graduation people!).

I spent a week reviewing the many different choices to replace my 20+ year-old briefcase and selected this one. I really like that it is made from quality full-grain leather (that won't peel), and I like the build, layout, separate storage compartments and expandability. I'm very pleased and believe it will last me another two decades!Pros:* Fits perfectly over my carry-on roller suitcase, in my hands, and over-the-shoulder* Good looks and solid build* Quality leather* Various compartments for easy access to my devices, pens, cards, travel accessories, computer, etc.* I love the expandability. Narrow mode means less bulky for local use, and expanded mode for trips when I want to carry extra food/drinks/supplies, etc.Cons: (minor, but noting for the next buyer to consider)* The top of the case has small openings for the handle that will allow rain to enter* The front/outer pocket curls under the front of the case and small items can hide there

This bag is my second Kenneth Cole bag, and this as well as the first, are extremely well built. The leather strikes a fine blend of strength, structural integrity and softness. The color also is a nice rich dark brown. The bag truly maintains it's shaping and integrity, and keeps a relatively slim profile compared to other bags. The size is definitely closer to mid-size than full size - so if you have a full size laptop this is unlikely to work well for you, however a slimmer unit, including the MS Surface will fit well and offer lots of additional space. The bag does have an expansion zipper which keeps the bag into slim mode when closed, and when opened it offers an additional 1.25 inches of additional space.

I was very hesitant about ordering this bag. I always read the negative reviews before buying anything. When I read the reviews about mismatched leather and broken zippers, I was really leery.I received this today and gave it a very thorough once over. All the stitching was tight, zippers seem heavy duty, lining seems sturdy, and the leather is top quality. It should wear very well. I had a leather bomber jacket when I was younger, not the plastic crap. The lining wore out before the shell even thought about wearing at all. This is that leather. It fits my HP Envy 15.6" perfectly, even with the wireless dongle left in the usb slot.I'm impressed. If this lasts the years and years I expect it to, it's well worth the money.

This was quite a deal. The bag is well made and looks great. It can carry a surprising amount of stuff, including my 14" Dell laptop and a smaller tablet. I've taken it on a couple of trips and it's held very well.It looks good and has generated nice compliments. My only quibbles are that the pull tabs on the zippers are a little stiff, and the shoulder pad on the strap isn't very big and slips easily. The fact that it has a single divider in one compartment doesn't bother me.I really appreciate the strap that allows the bag to ride on top of a roll-on bag. A velcro strip in the middle made for a snug fit.My laptop is from Dell, a Latitude 7450. It has a 14" screen (diagonal) and is 13.3 x 9.1 x 0.8 inches in size. It fits very easily in the padded sleeve.I just tried a 15" screen laptop, a Dell Precision m4800, and it's a much tighter fit. That width is 14.8" and it took a bit of work to fit it in - but it's also a thick laptop as well: 14.8 x 10.1 x 1.30.So, while a 15" laptop might fit, it might not be as convenient as a 14" laptop - as measured by diagonal screen sizes. I'd estimate that as long as the width of the laptop is less than 14.5" inches wide, side to side, it'll fit fine. For example, a 15" MacBook Pro measures 14.13 x 9.73 x 0.71.The quality of the leather is nice, the stitching is excellent and everything appears durable, but it's only been a month.

This is a very good quality, attractive bag at an excellent price. I paid $89.99 a week or two before Christmas. I bought the brown one, not the tan listed here. This was to upgrade my husband's old, ratty briefcase and it has done the trick. He liked it right away. I was worried because the 16.5" length measurement is maybe slightly shy of the true measurement and I was afraid my husband would think it was too small. But, his big, fat day planner fits in it easily, and, in reality, I think it is plenty big - and probably bigger than most. It has plenty of width and lots of compartments. I am very happy with my purchase.

After waiting for 8 days, this bag finally arrived but already missed its purpose (it was my son’s birthday gift). My first impression of the bag is CHEAP on its arrival. It doesn’t look as good as the photos with its dumb outlook and the rust-like hardware. Although I knew it is a new bag, but its appearance seems someone have used it for many years before shipping it to me. The shoulder strap is fabric and also looks cheap. The type of leather is very thin and not durable. Overall it is not a good purchase and it doesn’t worth the money.

Blown away by the quality, feel and look of this product, very happy with this purchase!
