Review after 9 months of use:This car phone mount holder was purchased because it was one of the few that would fit my Nexus 6P. It has potential and worked great up until 2-3 months ago. The mount would no longer stay mounted to my windshield or dashboard overnight. Which, I'll admit is due to temperature changes of the materials and the suction cup loses it's effectiveness.However in the last 2 weeks while commuting, the mount falls off whatever surface it's mounted to while I'm driving. I have mounted it to the windshield first thing in the morning as I leave and it falls down within 5-10 minutes (on smooth road). I have also mounted it to the dashboard on a GPS mount puck which is a very smooth surface and again, it falls off within 5-10 minutes. I have it mounted just to the right of center of my steering wheel so I don't have to take my eyes off the road very far to see the information displayed (I use it to hold my phone which displays the data from an OBDLink LX Bluetooth reader for fuel economy). The mount falling while driving on smooth road is dangerous and not only risks damaging my phone, it risks getting caught in my steering wheel and preventing me from steering fully.I just now realized this mount is no longer available, which means this review probably won't prevent anyone from buying it as it most likely was discontinued, however I felt the need to mention my recent experience. I am unable to use the mount anymore, so now I have to find a new solution to fit my phone.

Had this mount, worked amazingly for 3-4 months. Seriously. Bragged about it to all of my friends of how sturdy it was and how secure my phone was in it. I even mounted it to the left side of my steering wheel and would drive with the windows open because I was very confident that it would not fall off. It never did fall off, however, the top clip which is spring loaded snapped off a few days ago and now I'm back in the market for a new mount. Maybe I was a little too tough with it, but I hoped it would last a bit longer than it did. Yes it did break, but while it was fully functional it was the best phone mount I've used so far so it gets at least 3 stars.9/19/17 *The replacement mount broke, same issue with the last one they sent me (top clip snapping off). Yes I like this mount, but not if I have to buy it every 3-4 months....

Product looks sturdy and have been using it for the past couple of monthsPros1. Looks good2. Can hold large phones3. Sturdy and can support phone (Nexus6 / Iphone 6+) without any problems4. Can hold and charge and iphone 4 (the arm has a slot big enough for it's charger)Cons1. Can't do one hand operation2. Difficult to adjust s you have to push buttons of each joint to do it. And also limited in the angle that you can do with the phone3. Can't use angled usb chargers

The large adjustable clamp that holds the device is great for holding a medium tablet at its sides or a smartphone at its top and bottom. The clamp can fully rotate and swivel, so orientation is unhindered. The various hinges allow for a wide variety of positions.However, it does not pivot, so make sure you point it the direction you want before applying the suction cup.That suction cup is awesome by the way. There is a mild adhesive that fills in the imperfections of a dash and allows for a severely secure attachment.I'm not a huge fan of the orange, but that could be fixed with some spray paint.Overall, fantastic product. Would recommend.

Update: I just used this item for one day. The whole structure looks stable and well constructed. The only flaw is the rattling noise of the vice grip spring (see comments below). If you think you don't mind the noise, and mostly drive on smooth roads, please purchase. I live in California where they have the worst roads in the nation. I increased the start due to: Vendor communicated frequently and issued a full refund. Great customer service.Review left in earlier time: Surprise that nobody mentioned about the rattling noise of the holder springs, created by the car bumpy rides. The tiny sounds, which break through engine noise, street noise, and music, will get on your nerves after a while. I've had enough of the dangerous distraction this device makes; I'll have to return it.

I use this to hold my 7" Samsung Table to the windshield of my Offroad Jeep Cherokee, It runs my Trail Map software and allows me to pinpoint locations on the map, needless to say it gets a pounding offroad and has never come off the windshield, the bottom of the tablet does rest on the dash as I have it setup. I have been very happy how this mount has worked.

I almost did not buy this item because of the reviews that I read mentioning issues with the mount falling off of windows and dashes in high temperatures due to weak suction on the bottom of the mount. My experience with the product has been the opposite. I've been using the car mount for over a week and the grip of the suction is very strong especially concidering the temperature inside my car can reach over 125 degrees most days.The most unique and useful part of this particular mount is the number of ways you can adjust it to get the perfect angle and view.Pros* strong suction grip (very sticky gel on bottom)* very sturdy* highly adjustable* great price* can hold large phones and tabletsCons*orange parts could look better in blackI highly recommend!! And will be sure to post a follow up review within 30 days if I encounter any issues.

I Hate this Product! ! Why give five stars right? Well, I hate it because it works and since I purchased it, I have no issues with. Their description of the product is on point. I only HATE it because I lost a $20 bet. I purchased it to prove that this thing is flimsy, it will keep falling off, and it will not hold my Nexus 6P properly. Well I was proven wrong! Great Product and I recommend it to anyone. Purchased my item last January 6th.
