It's still a Ridgid, but not all American like Rigid is supposed to be
Ridgid has long been the standard in drain cleaning machines. Ours is over 15 years old so we decided to buy a new one. The first thing I noticed was it wasn't put together as well as the old one then I saw why. Rigid is making their parts overseas these days, which means they'll go to crap in a hurry because the tolerances are all off compared to our old model. Still, we bought it and it appears to be a machine that we're accustomed to using. Only time will tell if it stands up like it's older relative.
