Inexpensive and space-saving
I own lots of ties, and I’ve had a few different tie racks that were either flimsy or took up too much closet space. I had bought two of these before and was very impressed with their sturdiness and compact size, so I decided to buy another. I live in a small home, so space is a big deal. This is a great value for the price, and I highly recommend this product.

Gift for husband
I really liked this tie rack for my husband. I had bought him some in the past that were awful and the ties would just slip out of and wind up on the floor but this one holds them firm into place, it doesn’t knock other ties off and organizes them beautifully!

Space efficient, time inefficient
I needed a new tie and belt organizer that I could hang rather than screwing into the wall, so I ordered three from Amazon: Walnut Tie Rack With Swivel Hook , this walnut tie rack shaped like shirt hanger, and Twirl-a-Tie Organizer . I already owned a vertical style hanger like the Non-slip Tie & Belt Valet .My recommendation is for either the walnut rack on swivel hook or this walnut rack shaped like a shirt hanger, depending on your needs. The Twirl-a-Tie is just a gimmick. Made of ugly plastic, its hooks are not spaced far enough apart, so you can use only every other hook or mash your ties together. Even using only every other hook, the ties are still crushed between the hooks at the inside. I would buy the Twirl-a-Tie only if I knew a small boy who owned some ties and wanted a hanger. It is too bulky to be used for travel. The walnut tie rack on swivel hook is sturdy and decent-looking, although not something to show off. It will accept 22 ties on its 22 hooks, which are sized and spaced adequately. It is easy to get the ties on and off the hooks, and the hooks are long enough to hang belts on the end in addition to the ties. Drawbacks: (1) it does not swivel easily and must be removed from the closet to pick a tie; (2) it is wide and the hooks push into the clothes on either side; (3) it is long and your ties may dangle onto things if the floor of your closet is stacked high. The walnut tie rack shaped like a shirt hanger will hold 24 ties. It is nice-looking and sturdy enough... I think. The major drawback is that it is difficult to remove ties from the rack. The rack has to be removed from the closet and some of the moveable hooks re-arranged to get a tie off. Unlike the walnut swivel, this hanger is relatively thin and space-efficient and keeps the ties dangling higher off the closet floor. It cannot accept belts, but the company makes a matching belt rack that I suspect works well.If your personality is such that you would get annoyed having to move hooks to get at an individual tie, choose the walnut swivel. If you are short on space in your closet, choose the walnut shirt-style hanger.I previously owned one of the vertical tie organizers like the non-slip. I hated it. It has the drawbacks of all three of the above reviewed: it is ugly and crushes the ties together; it must be removed from the closet to choose a tie and dangles the ties too low; it is difficult to get at the ties on the hanger. You will regret buying it.

Extremely Efficient Tie Storage!
The most efficient tie hanger I have found! Well worth the price!Forget those spinning racks that take up as much closet rod space as 4 suits, trying to use the stock store hang tags on standard hangers or resorting to unwieldy methods of stashing that leave your ties wrinkled and creased...this nifty tie hanger can safely hold up to 24 ties and takes up only as much space in the closet as a standard sport coat! The wood hanger uniquely suspends 24 tie clips, 12 on each side, which swivel front to back for easy access and storage of ties. The clips can be a little tight, but I have yet to damage any of my ties, regardless of size, thickness or material. Just make sure you hold both sides of the tie near the clip when pulling it into the holding arm and the material shouldn't stretch or snag. Any clips that are overly tight can be manually adjusted wider with a flat head screwdriver for a quick and easy fix.The general fit and finish isn't the best, but I have no doubt that this hanger will survive many years of regular use.All in all, the hanger works very well and stores every tie I own in a very convenient space and size. No more broken plastic hang tags or lost space in the closet. This hanger presents all of my stored ties in an easy-to-see, easy-to-access manner and being able to organize my collection by color and design makes it far easier to pick out a tie each day.Highly recommended!

Suspender Hanger!
I purchased this item not for ties, but for suspenders! Yes, the kind that keep your pants up. I made the switch to suspenders and wasn't sure how to store them. If I folded them up and put them in a drawer they inevitably became tangled. Same if I rolled them up in a drawer, plus they take up quite a bit of drawer space. Regular hangers weren't good because they would fall off all the time. Then I found this and decided to try it.THIS IS PERFECT FOR SUSPENDERS! The material is pretty sturdy, and the entire hangar spins as does each individual "tie holder", Like with ties, you need to load it evenly otherwise you will get a titanic effect on the hangar, but basic physics says that is unavoidable. This works well to hold my six suspenders, but can hold as many as there are hooks (24 total, 12 on each side). Each metal holder I would say is 1 3/4" to 2" (I didn't measure). The metal holders have an area to "pinch" or hold ties in place, which works well for me. For suspenders I put only ONE strap of the suspender just a bit under the metal pinching, which holds it in place snugly without forcing both straps under. I then simply lay the 2nd strap over the first as shown in the pictures. I have had this for a few months now and never once has the hangar let them fall and they remain where I put them, untangled and ready to go.This would work well for ties if that is what you want it for, but if you are looking for a way to hang your suspenders this is it!

Inadequate
Metal clips are too tight, ties (of regular size and shape, not too thick or too large) do not slide in or fit inClips do not stay parallel to the floor but are arched, ties do not hang very well that wayThis is supposedly a simple product how can you build it so badly?

I loved it and more importantly my husband loved it.
My husband loved this product. As soon as I gave it to him, he went straght away to organize his ties, that upuntil I got the tie and belt organizer, were hanging on door knobs and coat hooks all over the house! This is aquality product, very reasonably priced and a very useful item, especially when you have a husband who collects ties!

Good but overpriced
A little overpriced but does what it should, although you need to keep the weight on it balanced on both sides. Seems to be good quality material. I would try to find it at a local dollar store or Target or something.
