Fixes the MOS.
So Glocks are great, and having a factory optic cut is awesome. The Glock MOS system suffers because the optic plates suck. Your OEM plates are badly molded metal, often don’t sit flush, lose threading, and place the lion’s share of stress on the screws holding the optic to the plate.CHPWS solved this issue entirely. Hands down their plates are the best engineered solution, and they really have solved every possible issue with V4. The optic fits snug on the plate, and has to be pressed onto the posts; that’s some amazing part tolerance. The T-posts give you a total of four posts for the optic to hold onto in recoil, and are removable should you somehow strip or mangle one. It’s unlikely you’ll strip the post, but should you snap off a screw head, the posts have a hole in the bottom allowing you to put a drill bit under the screw and push it out.The plates are thinner than factory, they hold the optic on the front and back, and short of milling a slide are the best option out there. The plates ship with three screws for the optic so you have an extra, and stainless screws to mount the plate on the slide.Unlike the factory plates, CHPWS plates pretty much hold zero if you have to remove the optic for a battery change. It won’t be a perfect zero, but your impact will be within an inch or so of where it should be. That’s good enough to allow you to swap a dead battery without having to run to the range immediately. Factory plates can be off by four to five inches after removing the optic. So buy this thing if you have an MOS Glock. It’s not even a question.

Perfect fit.
Perfect fit, very good design. Much better than the Glock plates. Trijicon RMR mounts prefect, I now have 2. The price is good

Too
OMG these freaking screws. The product is fine but they really need to do a better job of explaining what screws are for what build. Too many options and the QR code to website with instructions is not helpful. After a lot of trail and error I was able to get the damn thing on and secure.

C&H Precision is not precise.
First, the screws for mounting the plate to the slide are missing. Thankfully I have multiple mos screws that are the same spec, so mounting the C&H plate was possible without having to call for replacement. The thread locker was missing, but I have thread locker that met C&H’s recommendation. The T-nuts did not sit flush in the recess on the plate. I had to file the excess metal on the plate to allow the T-nuts to sit flush. I finally got the plate mounted flush.Second, labeling was absent on the holosun and rmr screws. I had to go online and make sure I had the right screws for my holosun 507c optic. The QR scan led to a series of instructional videos that were sub par. When C&H is telling you during the instructions that you may have to modify screws and the plate to get the right fit that is a red flag. At this price point everything should fit right the first time. I should not have to machine your screws or plate.Third, I mounted the holosun to the plate. There is a gap under the optic at the lugs. I can see light from the lugs to the mid point on the optic. I used I torque tool and set screws at 10 lbs as instructed by C&H. I took optic off and inspected the lug holes on optic. The optic is not the problem. The lugs on the plate are the problem. I used digital calipers to measure each lug of plate. The right lug is higher than the left, which means I will have to file the lug to get my optic flush. Finally, this company bolsters precision, reliability and easy installation. This product is anything but precise, reliable, or easy to install. Save yourself the time, trouble and money. I placed my mos plate back on my glock 19. I do not care for the gap between the front of my optic and the slide when using the mos plate, which lead to this purchase. That was my only problem with the mos plate. I got caught by the advertising that a tighter fit from the C&H plate would add to the security of the optic. Maybe I got the lemon.

Decent product
Ok for what it is, its an improvement over the m.o.s system. But you are better off going with the Forward controls Brand mounting plates.
